At first I didn't think much of this but......

This boy is 18 and works for my husband. Over the past couple weeks, any time I mention doing something, he offers to go with me.

Like, Black Friday, he said he would be here at 4am and go with me to shop.

Tonight, I mentioned to my husband that I should go drop my rx's off to get filled. My daughter's boyfriend then said, if you go now, I will go with you and you can show me what the girls want for Christmas.

These are just two examples, there are several other times he has done this--is he just being super nice or what?

LOL-If he wanted to save on gas, then he needs to stay home. He is here a lot and he is in another town about 30minutes away.

I think I am more of a tiger..lol
I have never gave it a thought if he was attracted to me, I think of him as a boy. I treat him like any of her other guy/girl friends--thats why he is here all the time.

Maybe he is looking for a mom figure? His isn't much to brag about.

I only accepted his offer one time and that was tonight so I could show him what the girls were wanting--we didn't talk all that much while we were gone--daughter was at work.

They haven't been dating long and I do like him---much improvment over the last two losers she dated.

If I didn't like him, she wouldn't have to tell him, I would tell him myself.

How serious are they? Do you like him? If you don't maybe your daughter told him and he is trying to change your mind. Maybe he loves her and wants to be close to his future in laws. It could be so many different reasons. He might not have had a family like yours and could just be enjoying it. A lot of people come from bad backgrounds and do not know what a real family is. Yours might be great to him. If he does not over step any boundaries just take him as he is.

Have you been accepting these offers of assistance? If so you have probably seen some signs of what his intent is by offering to go with you. Is he genuinely being nice and helpful, or do you see indications that he offers to go for another reason, maybe a crush on you??

It does seem odd that he would offer to go on a 4am shopping trip, as most 18 year old guys are probably not very interested in shopping especially with a woman old enough to be their mother. Probably best just to say thanks but no thanks if he continues to be this helpful.

Maybe he wants you to be his 'cougar.' Do you think he's attracted to you?
Honestly, I know a lot of younger men that have really gotten into this current fad of wanting to date older woman. Probably not the case, and particularly when you're married and he's dating your daughter, but you never know.

He may have a crush on you. Stay away from him totally at this point in time.
Good luck.
