My ex and I were together 3 years. He recently left me for another girl.
He has been very nasty to me over this, and basically told me to stay out of his life and that he hated me (no apparent reason).
So I did. No texts, no emails, blocked him from my messenger etc. Three nights ago I got a text from him at 12:30am saying, "just wanted to check you okay?" I replied that I was fine. Next night, he text me at 11pm asking if I hated him. I replied that I didn't, and why was he asking? He said he wanted to know my feelings towards him. I left it there. Later on he text me again at 02:30 am asking if I was awake. I wasn't, therefore did not reply.
I asked him the following day why he wanted to know my feelings towards him suddenly. He responded that it didn't matter. When pushed, he said he wanted us to be friends without hostility. He turned up at mine at 11:30pm last night, out of the blue. He said he wanted me gone so why is he texting me and trying to get my attention?

My husband and I both work full time. We both make good money although he makes almost double what I do. He has already given me my christmas present................ A family cruise this comming summer (paid in full ) . I don't make enough money to get him anyhting close to that. He always does this...The presents he gives me are far more expensive than I can afford to give him. What can I get him to compete with what he gave me????

We've fallen in love with a restaurant that won't allow us to have a DJ or a dance. We're not overly hung up on the dance but we don't want people to just have a dinner. It's not a large group, just over 50 people, any entertainment ideas that do not involve music?

My wife and I are in the midst of a long (15 months +) rather contentious divorce. Her lawyers took my deposition last week. My lawyer and I are due to take hers this week. My deposition was pretty unremarkable - no real bombshells.

My lawyer called this morning to suggest we may not really need my wife's deposition. From the questions I was asked, we got a pretty good idea of what their tack will be in settlement discussions. We also aren't really looking for any particular information from my wife. We have what we need to support our position in negotiations, or, if it comes to it, at trial.

It seems like kind of a no brainer to cancel the deposition, save c$1,500 in the process and possibly continue to lower the level of acrimony in the process.

Does anybody think it would be a bad idea in the circumstances to cancel the deposition?

Thanks alot.

I am 25. My number is 4.

3 were my bf's, one was a hookup with a guy friend.

I have decided no more until I am married.

I have a lot of guilt over feeling like I am a loose woman and never thought I woudl have more than one, I thought I would marry the first guy and it didnt happen.

Anyway, just curious and want to know where I stand with the rest of the population.

How old are you?
Are you male or female?
How many parnters have you had?
Were they relatinships or hookups?
Protected or unprotected?

Thanks!

I like this guy, he asked a friend of my what he has to do with me (because he knows that I like him) and he answered to him: you should go out with her when you're both not drunk!
The next day he send me a text message, but it has been 4 days and he didn't send me anything back!
should I send to him or do I have to wait? I'm kind of new with all of this, so I could use some advice, my friends say I have to wait!

Here's the whole story. My sister caught my best friends boyfriend with her (BF) sister. Messing around when they were drunk. He denied the whole thing and my best friend believed him. I don't but anyways. She's mad at my sister and now my other sister is getting married. we are all in the wedding party and my best friend is trying to make plans to plan the wedding at her place excluding my other sister. I thought that was totally rude so I called her out on it and said that she shouldn't try to do that. She got mad at me and now is mad and ignoring me.
Shouldn't she be happy I was honest and told her what others (I wasn't the only one who thought she was being mean) said about her. So she's happy with everything but she is my very best friend and now I feel like crap. Should I apologize or just move on from this immature so called best friend of mine. I'm not going to let someone treat my sister like crap because She thinks the mess around was a rumor.

I am a single, straight, 28 year old male that lives at home with his parents and other adult siblings. I am very successful in my career and I am highly educated as well, so it's not like I am a lazy person as some may want to believe when they hear I choose to live at home. My parents actively encourage their kids to live at home as long as they would like and rent free of course. What I don't understand is the jealousy people have of my living arrangements. If they are so jealous, most of them, I am sure, could make arrangments to move back home. I am the brunt of many nasty comments/jokes like this due to many forms of jealousy. It is worth noting that these arrangements did not come easy. I had to cultivate this great relationship with my family over a number of years. So it's not like anything was doled out to me. Plus, this is the least our parents can do considering all the years of joy we have given them in the past. They get a real kick out of that when I tell them that!

I've been considered a nice guy by many people. For some reason however, I always seem to slip up along the way. Some small thing will set me off and I will say something I later regret. For example, a woman at my office often says "what" when I ask a question of her. I repeat the question each time. Recently however, I was having a bad day and was unhappy. My reaction on one of these occasions was rude, and I blurted out " you need a hearing aid"!. I realized what I'd said shortly thereafter and apologized. This wasn't enough for her. She said from now on we will only talk about things strictly pertaining to business. I felt horrible and tried to explain myself. It wasn't going as I would have liked it to, and it was the obvious cold shoulder coming my way. What do you think I can do to reconcile this situation? We used to be friends, we haven't known each other for very long, but I thought she'd be a little more sympathetic. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks a lot.

could you all think carefully before saying anything please, i was a young girl once and never thought that one day i would fall in love with a young man, young enough to be my daughter's age, sorry! no i am not, harming any one , no i am not, except only the both of us , i dared myself to tell you and to hear your opinion, please don't be harsh on me, no not expecting marriage, so don't tell me he will go to someone else when i grow older. What more can i tell you except that we both love each others, you may say he finds a mother in me, well i don't mind. Just give me your opinion please and thank you.

I told my friend id go shopping with her tomorow because she has been ill and just got better. She is my best friend and we do go shopping alot though.
Today though a friend of mine asked me if i wanted to go ice skating with her and a few other friends. I was in a bit of hurry and wasn't thinking straight, so I said yes without thinking about it. Ok i'm your average 12 year old girl who goes to middle school. I have this one friend who i think might be bio and likes me. of course we're friends but i'm not like that at all. i hav a crush on a boy. my friend would say things like "I had a lesbo friend who liked me and I was still her friend!" when i never even said anything. she never came straight out with it, but when i went over her house she would put on porn. God wants me to guard my eyes and my heart, but how can i do that in such an uncomfortable situation with a best friend who i think is a little "off track?"

We went on 3 dates & made it official on saturday (kinda at my suggestion). Well on the 3rd date we kissed it was my first time kissing someone but it was awful. I don't think anything could ever change it. He told me saturday was the best night ever and he has told me that I'm perfect and how beautiful I am. The problem is I don't feel the same way I about him. I kinda knew after the 1st date it wouldn't work but with my last relationship where I did call it off and ended up regreting it I wanted to give it a chance instead. But he wants to hang out with me this weekend & everytime he does I feel myself wanting to put it off and when the day arrives I am sick to my stomach. I just can't go through that anymore. I know I will probably regret saying I don't want to be his girlfriend before though but I don't want to continue to feel this way. He is a nice guy but how he always compliments me gets sickening. What can I do? He really likes me and says I have captured his heart.
