I know my friend's parents who were married 40 years plus, and then died within years of each other.

Their son and daughter eventually got married, and both got divorced.

Why is it that this generation can't hold a marriage. And I find it funny why this son and daughter got divorced, because they usually say if a parent's marriage lasted so will their future generations? Can anyone prove me wrong or right?

I was divorced before my son was born and now I started dating again. I am with someone whom mihgt be my long term partner right now, so it is time to introduce him to my son. Ideally, my son had a bio father who loves him very much, and a step father who is a great friend and good influence to him. I seem to be relaxed about the relationship between my son and my ex, and I know I need work on the relationship between my son and the potential step father. I am not sure how to do it. Any advise?

My ex hadn't seen our son since Sept. He lives 4 hrs away. Mon. night I got a text from him saying that he was at his parents & I could bring our son over on Tues. So I took him over there at 5:45 Tues evening. I packed our son enough clothes to stay til Sun. Our divorce agreement states that he gets him Tues. at 6 til Sun. at 6. Yesterday he sends me a text about 6 asking where I want to meet to pick up our son. I told him this was his week & I would pick him up Sun. He says he has to leave & he guesses he will just let our son stay w/his parents since I don't "want him". The thing of it is...I always want our son..& I always have him...I am the one that takes care of him all the time. It seemed to me like he didn't want him & neither did his parents. I feel like they should spend time w/him b/c he misses his dad & loves seeing him. Am I wrong for doing that b/c now I'm thinking about just going&getting him. I just thought that they should share some responsibilities.

one of which cannot be found despite reasonable efforts to find them. how will the estate be devided? Can the executor of the will decide to put the fourth share in the bank , in case he eventually turns up? Or must the estate be devided among the three children who can be found. There is no wife in this scenario. Thanks

I'm in love with a beautiful woman as well as she is with me. We like everything the same as each other esp christmas our fav season. her husband hates it, claims its a suicidal season. He does not help her with anything, laundry, dishes, cleaning, cooking, bathing the kids, dressing them, he wont even go outside and play with his 4 yr old son... excuse " I work all week I want to relax on the W/E. He expects her to drop what she is doing whenever, wherever, and whoever is there, and give him sex whenever he feels like it which basically 24/7. If she refuses he gets in a mad about it.. ex. he has called her a whore b/c she refused, he has hit her, choked her for refusing. this is no lie I have had to throw him off her b/c of his anger problem his whole fam has ADHD and bi-polar disorder. He has a VERY VERY short temper.. He has litterly beaten his son for having too much fun as he says.. there is so much i could say just not enough room there is more you need to hear.. will you listen?

No matter what I do, my family always makes me feel like a screw-up.

I'm 19 years old. I quit college because I decided it wasn't for me. I thought that I was wasting time and money because I didn't want to be there.

I have a good job, my salary is $25k a year with full benefits and a lot of room for advancement. When I decide I'm ready for college, I will recieve full tuition reimbursement.
I bought myself a new car. I help my mother pay her bills.

But no matter what, they always act like I should be doing better.

My sister is a drug addict and when I bring that point up, like if I say, "Well at least I don't do drugs..." it's not good enough.

I've actually considered going into the military to make them think better of me.

What else can I do?

This is a really difficult question but one of my girl friends said in a joke that I better watch out because someone might try to take my husband. I started thinking about what she said and now I'm a little worried. He's really very handsome and masculine and he's been away from me since August in Infantry Training. I will get to see him again early next year and plan to introduce him to his newborn son. I met him when we were both 13 and we became friends. We started dating a few years later and over the years he did occasionally date other girls but always came back to me. I have a great figure but I'm not that pretty. I used to smile at him when he went out with someone else and say it was ok but inside I was crying that I would lose him. Usually he would e mail me or call me on my cell phone after a date and say "hi special girl". Then I would respond with what's up "puppy boy" and he would say "nothing is up because I miss you".That innuendo let me know he still liked me

About three months ago, my boyfriend broke up with me. I feel like I’m ready to move on now, but I have become self conscious about my ceramic braces that I have had for about a year now. When I was with him, I didn’t notice I even had them, but now, I feel soooo self conscious. I’m 24 years old, and I was with him for a year and four months. Any advice? I especially get self conscious on dates, it’s a horrible feeling. I’ve always been really confident, and I have been told my braces are really cute, but I can’t shake the feeling.

My mom and dad are of the old school. Their culture (which I believe is behind 1000's of years behind but which I respect) dictates that if you bring home a girl/guy that it means you are serious with the person or bringing them home to be introduced to mom or dad as a precursor to marriage. So, hence we 4 kids in our late 30's are never allowed to bring anyone home unless for potential marriage.
Note: We kids respect our parents culture, however we are born here in America and go with the flow.
Example: My brother's girlfriend (who he will not marry) invited my family over to her home for Thanksgiving Dinner, but mom and dad refused to go because they are not serious, or considering marriage. My mother even told the girl kindly that it is her culture and explained it to her without offense.

So, what is your thoughts?

I'm thinking of a woman in the mid 20s early 30s range.

Once you are married, how many times a week do you see yourself wanting to have sex?

Do women ever want sex 4-5 times a week? Do brides want it much less than their husbands? Or would you want to have sex as often as possible with him? What's your ideal range?
