hey.im 14 years old. and i want to know what qualities in a young girl that older adults look for as mature and respectable. i want to stand out apart from my friends as "grown up". im not an adult, so i dont know what adults think about this. also, what characteristics about a teenage girl turn you off?
i really want the women at our church to think "wow shes really growing up," or "I really like that girl".
and also, when 14 year olds wear makeup, does it make adults think "oh shes just trying to grow up too fast" or do you think it makes them look pretty?
please, i need LOTS of advice. please help me!

Apparently girls arent perfect, and never will be. the guys are just dumb *** holes and dont realize that. we try so hard for a guy to get to like you,but it just ends up hurting urself.

I'm going through the process of being diagnosed with breast cancer, and I'm worried about what could happen with my son. My husband, his step-father, is really the only dad that he has ever known. He sees his father approximately once a month for a weekend visit, and his father pays $200 a month child support. Is there any way that legally, if I die, my husband can retain full custody, but still allow my son to visit his real dad? What if my son's dad fights this, will he be able to win?

me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6+ months and he's been hinting that for christmas he's going to buy me some kind of jewelry, well i still have no idea what i should get him, so i've been looking around on the internet, anywayz.... Everytime my in laws call and I answer the phone they immediately ask for my husband and does not bother to find out how am I doing but when they speak to my husband they extend their regards to me. I dont understand.?

Extended family members, friends and even co-workers love to pry into my life and find out what I do in the department of love. Lol. I don't get bothered about this, but when I am completely honest by telling people that I am happy being single, and will be for the foreseeable future, it's almost as if they get offended. "What do you want to be alone your entire life?" Says a divorced women who is living in sin with a married man. "You need to get a life, it must be so boring! I bet you are a virgin right?" Says the girl who cheats on her husband. LOL, they don't know that I haven't even had my first kiss yet, but I could only imagine what they would say.

the guy i like is known for asking girls out to get sex/head, and its gross! but recently he has been talking to me more and more, and i think he likes me. His friends have hinted to me that he likes me/might ask me out. he is really nice and funny, and everything but how can i tell if he likes me for me, or he just wants to go out with me..because he thinks im easy?

is better to be in relationship or to be singlee and why?

i'd personaly rather be in relationship because i like the feeling that you get knowing that there's someone in this world that loves you other than your family.

I have been married for three years. My marriage has been one issue after another. My husband has lied about money, birthdate, phone calls, work issues, child custody issues, parental issues and many other things. My husband also starting talking with another women only after six months of marriage. He then didn't know what he wanted. He left for several days. My trust was broken and I talked him into marriage counseling. He went for awhile by himself. I attended a few times. I wasn't aware of any issues concerning our marriage. Now, the lying continues such as watching pornos and lying that he didn't do it. He has an issue pertaining to being able to tell the truth honestly. My personality is tell me and we'll work through it. I love my husband, but my self esteem is lower than it has ever been. I always wonder whether he will astray. On the other hand he is a good husband with kids and he wants everyone to see he has a good wife. Suggestions?

Im 16, i have been with my boyfriend for 2 years, but we broke up for 6 months last year, he dumped me.
I have loved him solidly for 2 years, i call him my best friend, sometimes i feel hes my only friend....
And then he goes an lets me down...
I dont know whether its becase hes 16, his Xbox 360 and BMXing is sooo important to him, more so than me... I feel often

I am fine witrh him hanging out with them, but now he doesnt text me goodnight or random nice things anymore, and we dont go out anymore. He comes over once a week for an evening and we just get cosy and intimate, thats all we have, when I want to just "hang out" he gets bored, I dont know what to do to keep him entertained anymore.
I am not into BMXing or hangin round the skate park anymore, do you think it means hes drifted away from me?
Am I just holding on to what we used to have so strong?

so there is this boy, and we have been off and on for about 8 months now. earlier this week he told me how much he loves me and stuff and he wants to be with me, you know all the sweet stuff. yesterday was my birthday and i expected him to at least talk to me. he walked right past me, went to his table and sent me a text message saying happy birthday and i was pissed? did i over exaggerate? than it lead to this huge fight and i told him i dont want to talk to him again and that was it. we havent talked since. i figure if he really loved me he wouldnt be asshamed to tell me happy birthday in person, and also wouldnt let me go that easily.

my husband and i have been married for 13 almost 14 years we have 5 children 4 of which we have adopted. he has recently went back to truck driving and then came in a few weeks later to let me know that he doesn't love me anymore. we have always had such a loving relationship so this came as a total suprise. he has always been very affectionate with me and now he is so distant. this has been going on for about 4 months now. when he gave me some of the reasons why i excepted it told him i can do this so in one year we will get a divorce.this beening his decision like every thing else that weekend he was all over me and very much into my needs and me (oh by the way his time at home is still spendt at home with us) now we are back to him being distant and shut down can anyone tell my what the heck is going on i should tell ya that i do work i do go to college and i have always taken care of the house and kids he works that is it not that i'm not grateful for that & is the love of my life

I'm 19 and I am so ready to move out. I am with someone who makes me really happy in most ways, there is only one BIG problem, SEX!!!! he just broke up with his girlfriend, he flirted with me even when they were going out. now he always talks about girls that are asking him out and asking me if he should say yes to the girls asking him out. i say no and then we get into playful arguments about it, and sometimes it seems like hes telling me this stuff because he wants to make me jealous. and he already knows that i like him. he always helps me with my homework, and asks me questions about my life and i ask him about his. he dosent seem like he wants to be friends, he flirts more than a guy who wants to be a girls friend would. he also brings up my ex's and always asks why i went out with them. and 3 days ago his friend (thats a girl) said "so do you know if you like that ONE GIRL yet?" and then he looks at me and says well i dont know which one girl your talking about...it might be the girl sitting next to me (me)
and supposedly he has ADD (what he told me) but he only acts like he does around me.
