Honestly, no one can decide what you should do in this situation. You are still young and have years before you have to get politically involved. But if that is what you love then go for it. It is wonderful that you helped another person but getting emotionally attached comes with some effects. If you love her then stay with her. But don't let one girl be your factor that stops you from achieving what you have worked so hard for. If she loves you, she will support your work and you wont have to chose. If she refuses, then maybe she wasn't right for you anyway [A true woman never stands in the way of her man's happiness]

you are 18 years old don't try and shoulder the world right now, if you are truly serious as you say about your venture it shouldn't matter how or what others think or say, about the girl do you truly care about her or are you using her as a additive for a resume, there are plenty of people that have balanced a relationship and a career all at once.. it is up to you, you need to decide about the girl and how you really feel about her, and if you leave her and she goes right back to the drugs you were just a crutch for her to begin with you need or she needs to find the root of her problems before you can go forward with her anyway...

Do both. Why can't you work and have a girlfriend too? Most people do.. Don't stay with her cos you feel guilty that she might go back to drugs though, that's something she'll have to work out on her own if she wants to. If she wants to go back to drugs then she'll do it whether she's with you or not cos she's an addict. If you really like/love her then support her but you don't have to be her carer. She'll sink or swim, hopefully the latter.

With planning and education,it is possible to reach your goals or dreams, you don't choose your friends to support your venture-you choose them because you like being with them.
As for the girl, you've seen the worst and tried to help her get straight with her life. Take it 1 day at a time and see how the relationship goes.

It is tricky to say the least to mix a love interest with a project. It seems she was a project on which you were successful. You inspired her to improve her life. Is her life change strong enough and long-lasting enough for a big-time achiever like you? Do you love her or the attention and adoration she gives you?
You have some sorting out to do.

you say 'maybi she's gonna act miserable again and go back to drugs again'. all i can say is that you cannot be responsible for her actions. If she does something bad IT IS NOT UR RESPONSIBILITY. yes it will hurt but be assured, that whatever she does it has nothing to do with what you did or didn't do. she would do it anyway. drugs is a hard one to figure out. by all means support her but be realistic about what that means. Personally i say 'go for your goals' and if she comes along with them that good for you both.

Why do you have to make a decision? I mean there are lots of businessmen that have wives, girlfriends, etc. Heck, some even have wives and girlfriends! (Not condoning that!) But seriously, I would be more worried about my financial future than a woman.

Why cant you do both. I would not suggest you focus on her and lose your venture, but rather focus on your venture and her. You dont want to lose either one. She needs you and you need her, but dont let that hold you back from pursuing your dreams. You will regret it.

Well I don't know you're story fully but from what I can read so far, my thought is you have a lot to learn but that's something you can't rush no matter what you do.... ;-)
