Okay,i'm giving you a nice trick....better..you go first with your friend to shopping....shop with her and then (purposely)go towards the shop where ice skates are sold.....React(as if really) and say "Ohh My God,Actually i had to go for ice-skating with my friends...i promised them 5 days before..." And then..ask her only what to do....ask her"What do you think?""Should i break my promise as i am with you? Or Should i Go there with you??? i'll do only that you tell me....but i know you dont like ice-skating..(Start crying somewhat)...Add..."I'm Really Confused".....
I think,this would do....

There is no dilemma, the clear choice is keeping your word; go shopping with your friend. Who is the better friend, or which activity, you think, may be more enjoyable is irrelevant. You probably, will enjoy the shopping trip more, because you will feel good about keeping your word. If you go ice skating, you may feel guilty, and not really enjoy the skating.
It is perfectly okay, to tell your friend, who invited you to go skating, your acceptance of her invitation was in error, i.e., you failed to recall the prior commitment, at the moment.

u could ask the girl who asked u to go ice skating and the other the girls that r going with her if she would want to go shopping but first ask the girl that invited u to go shopping if she would mind some other girls come along with u. If she says that she does mind then tell her that u will go shopping with her since she asked u first and that u can go iceskating with the other girl later. maybe u could do both and do it at another time today.

Well, even though you said you'd go shopping first, you can ask your friend to reschedule since you don't get to see these friends much. She should understand, if she's your best friend like you say she is. If she seems hurt or offended though, just go shopping, and tell the other friends that you forgot you already had plans.
Simple as that.

Do what you agreed to first.
just tell your other friends you where not thinking right and agreed to go skating while you had already made plans with someone else. If they are your friends they should understand this.
