I am getting married Oct 18, 2008 & our ceremony will be in the early afternoon, probably around 3 p.m. I have always wanted to have a fun reception with music & dancing, but do people usually only have dancing at evening weddings? Also, how does the formality of the wedding affect whether or not you have dancing?

Been friends w/a guy for about 7yrs who is 13yrs my senior. We have always had a great friendship and had a good time together. However, somewhere down the line we started developing feelings for 1 another. We never had any sexual encounters strictly on mental/emotional ties. I got engaged and told him that we could no longer continue this friendship knowing we had these type of feelings. It ended, I got married, and moved to another state. Moved back to my home state and we ran into each other and picked up where we left off as if no time lapse occurred. We have shared some life situations that have made our bond stronger (1 semi-sexual experience) and we both have tried numerous times to just walk away but cant seem too. I am now married and have been married for several yrs and even tho my hubby and I have a good relationship/marriage...my "friend" still can get my attn and get under my skin...even hurting my feelings sometimes. What do I do? (By the way...he is married too)

we know each other 4 three moths.
we had sex 8-10 times.
we meet six days a week & spend 5-6 hours daily.
now she says that she needs to attend classes as her attendance will be short, but i know she wants to test another guy.
i fell insecure even though i am better in every sense than that guy as i love her.
Note:- she cried yesterday when we were about to break up. she cried loud.

My 19 year old son is getting married soon to his 19 year old fiance. She is still studying at College and he is in the Navy.
The reception is costing $90 a head and they are having 270 guests.
Do you think this is too extravagant?
They don't even have a home/apartment to rent or buy.

He comes home from the navy on the Friday night, gets married on the Saturday and goes back on Sunday to the Navy for a week
before they can start their lives together.

I'm concerned they are both too young.
She works two days a week as a swimming instructor on a minimum wage .

Her parents are paying for their 250 guests and my son pays for the 20 guests. I'm concerned they don't understand the value of money.
Am I worrying too much?

sounds harsh. but i dont.
he was never there when i was growing up.
and even though he and my mother are still married, he has had many affairs, and i have a half brother.
when i was ten, he decided that me and my mum should go live with him in ghana. then a year later, it was zimbabwe we were moving to.
he called me fat, even though im underweight; he let me put my trust in him, then betrayed me.
now im back in scotland. and he's coming for xmas. my mum seems genuinely happy, but im dreading it.
how will i cope? i cant speak to him, i hate him that much.

I went out with my ex on/off for 2 years.I needed to just have space from it all (the petty arguements, him being mean) so I tried to have no contact with him at school since we have a class together. I started to be very mean to him even though he was just trying to be nice. i had family issues,self worth, and friend issues going on which caused me to be kinda ignorant. we still talked at times and he texted me once every week for 2 months. I still cared about him a lot.he even called me to hang out but I told him I was busy. After that he stopped trying to talk to me. Its like were both invisible. His friend said hi and waved to me but my ex just looked and me and didnt say anything. I sent him a text a few nights ago saying congratulations on winning the game. and he texted back saying thanks lol i saw you in the stands.

Does this mean he cares about me or is he just being nice or what?

Side note- Theres a girl that waits for him after some of his classes.They aren't going out

Every single day my mom puts me down and makes me feel like crap.There is'nt a day where she does'nt tell me that i was "an accident" or a mistake.she tells me that i'll never succeed in life and that she could'nt careless if i walked out under a car.she tells me everyday that she has no feelings towards me and that she does'nt love because she thinks i'm a piece of shitt.i just want to kill myself because she makes me feel so worthless everyday.I know i'm only 15 but sometimes i think throwing myself under a train is the best thing to do.and it's not like i can go to my father because i never knew him and my mom refuses to tell me about him.

i really don't know what to do, i don't kno whether i should run away or kill myself.i just feel like crap.
i would seriously greatly appreciate any advice? please?

My fiance has two sisters, who are very conservative (and judgemental). We moved in with each other (before we decided to get married), and so from then on, they called us names (even to our faces), ignored us, and wouldn't even let their children, who we are very close to, come over to our house. We were dating for almost 8 years before we moved in together, and I personally don't see anything wrong with that. My fiance and I just decided that it would be best to not talk to them, at least until they apologize for their childish behavior. Well, this is the first Thanksgiving that none of us have spoken, and I was just wondering what we should do. I know they really don't care to hear from us (being sinners and all!!!!), and I really don't see us being close with them ever again. What should we do?

i know a child needs both , yet in this day and age it is not always that the parents stay together for the children... therefore if one mother or father had to be chosen to raise child on thier owm. who should it be and why.......? and if you have any opinons on where you would put a mother who sends her child off to be raised in a forgein country by her grandparents, them being the parents of her husband who has left her. he is living with his new partner now and has a happy life with his love and they have a child together and are their own family..

Just been round at a married friends - they had a mini tiff in the kitchen and he walked out and called her a sl*t!! In front of me!

I'm appalled, but she thought it was ok and shrugged it off and then they were fine with each other later in the evening.

Am I a bit behind the times - is this ok? I'd wallop my fella if he did this?!!!!!!!

So after weeks of looking for the perfect dress I finally found the one of my dreams! The only problem is that I can not find a store in my area that carries it so I was thinking of ordering it online. I was just wondering if anyone has or has had this dress. What is the sizing on the dresses like? Is the dress heavy or hot to wear? Also, I'm pretty short so I'm not sure it will look good on me! ok so this boy died from a bad dog bite and he lives close to my neighborhood.he actually goes to a school very close to mine too.so yea i wrote a blog about him and now someones telling me its disrespectful.now the person thats saying this i trust very much.but i just dont get how its disrespetful.so is it?

Im sorry that this had 2 happen 2 u. I never thought something like this could. Its so sad just hearing about it. I am furious that my own mother is against throwing me a baby shower. My husbands mother is throwing me one for her friends and side of the family. I would rather do something seperate with my side instead of expecting to invite my side to my mother-in-laws shower. My mom says that it looks bad that she would throw one for her daughter, like we are just asking for gifts. It completely doesn't make any sense to me. Is this unusual for a mother to not want to do this for her child? It makes me feel like she doesn't support me or my husband or her first grandchild. She is too worried about appearences than anything else. Is is customery to have seperate showers with different sides of family?

I have just relocated 2 1/2 hours to live with my partner.

The kids LOVE it.

But I have always lived in the country, and have found moving to the city to be very stressful. People are rude, I have tried to talk to other mums at the kids school, but they dont want to give me the time of day ........something that Im not used to at all.
I feel lonely and depressed, and I dont know my way around, I dont really want to 'burden' my partner with my woes.

Sorry guys its not really a question, more just a vent........

My ex and I broke up in May and we have a 9 month old daughter together and I'm recently 7 months pregnant from him. Ever since we split he showed no interest in my pregnancy or our daughter. I talked to him a month ago and he said that he didn't want the responsibility and he wanted nothing to do with the kids. Now i'm engaged to someone else and we're getting married next year and he wants to adopt both kids. I'm due with the 2nd baby in February. My ex is mad that i'm engaged and now he's trying to start stuff with my fiances family. he knows my fiances cousin and told her that i was a worthless slut and called me a bunch of nasty names. my fiance got irritated because he's saying that stuff and he's also telling everybody that the kids aren't his and that i cheated on him which isn't true at all and he knows that but he just wants to be stupid. So how do I get him to leave me and my family alone so i can be at peace with my fiance and kids?

i like this guy, and im NOTT the kind of girl that can keep her own secret, so of corse i tell everyone. he said he liked me too.
but the problem is that my best friend is like in love with him (or so she claims). but i didnt know that until i let everyone else know. i thihnk i might really love him too though.the guy i like knows that she likes him too, but he doesnt like her. neither me or my friend is mad at each other for liking him. && she likes this other guy too, but the guy i like is the only one i like.
if i go out with him, would that effect our friend ship?

For example, I remember my dad taking me to the library on a fall day and feeling happy. I also remember going christmas shopping with my parents at night and it started to snow and we got home and drank hot chocolate. I am 14 and a freshman in high school. And for about a year I've been shaving my pubic hairs. Then I was in the shower and Mom came in the bathroom for something. She said when I got out she wanted to talk to me.

She sat me down and told me that girls need that hair to keep bacteria out of the body. And she went on about how hair acts as a filter. Like in the nose. How nose hair keeps bacteria out from getting up there. And she is a major health nut. She says I'm not allowed to do that anymore.

I have been best friends with this woman for about 5 years. She has been married for two years, and has been carrying on an affair with another man that her husband works with for almost a year. (it will be a year next month) I have never told my friend's husband anything because he and I are not that close and I've always felt it wasn't really my place. But my friend recently told me that she and this man have been putting money aside so they can both file for divorce and get a place together. Part of me still feels like it isn't my place but then another part of me feels like my friend's husband and this man's wife don't deserve to be blindsided like this. My friend's husband has a six year old daughter from a previous relationship. They have no children together. The other man's wife has a seven year old son from a previous relationship and they have a 1 year old son together. I really don't know if I should keep my mouth shut or not. What do I do in this situation?

hi i just want when people that read this to give me an advise.
