go to www.houseofbrides.com and put the style number along with the designer in the search box. The size chart also explains how to measure for ordering online. You can also call their 1800 number and ask a sales person how they run.
It does look like you won't be cold in that dress. You can go to any bridal store and see if they have something similar that you can try on to see if it fits. Bring the picture with you so they can match as close as possible.
I'm about 5"2, 120 lbs and this is the dress that i picked (see sources). I thought the same thing about my height when i went to look at this dress. Good luck!

I would be very careful in ordering a gown you have never seen in person or tried on. Even if I had to drive an hour to look at it in a store I would do it. This is on Mary's Bridal's website under FAQ's:
(Q) Should I buy from the Internet?
(A) Most of the time buying from the Internet is a bad idea because your wedding dress is very special and your satisfaction and good service should be high priorities. Stores in your area can provide the best service so please leave buying on the Internet as a last resort. If you are thinking about buying from the internet and taking the dress to a bridal store, they may not want to help you. In addition, normal alteration stores may not be familiar with the alteration of the wedding dress and unfortunately if you do not like the dress, you may be stuck with it.

I agree I would not suggest to order this particular gown online especially without trying it on. Formal gowns tend to look different on others and on the hanger, you can never judge a dress until you try it on. Also with the intricate embroidery work on this dress it may be hard to have altered. You would do better trying to find a shop that can order it and handle the alterations.
Another idea is to print out the picture and show it to the consultants at the dress shops and see what they can find for you that is similar. You never knwo you may try it on and hate it! Or you may find something similiar and love it.
This gown does look heavey, especially with embroiderd satin and a cathedral length train. I wouldn't want to wear that bustled, it will be pretty heavy.
If you do love this dress and find one similar that is heavy you can always wear it for the ceremony and pictures and then change into a lighter soiree dress for the reception.
Good luck!!

If you decide to order it online order it in two sizes bigger than you normally wear. Wedding dresses always run small no matter who makes them. If it arrives too big its easier for the seam tress to take it in, rather than letting it out. You can also talk to a local bridal shop in your area. A lot of bridal shops have buyers rights to other lines.

go into a bridal store and let them know what you are lookin' for and they can order it for you if they don't have it in stock in your size. though let me warn you that it will talk about 3 months for the dress to come in. and they size vary the seamstress takes 3 different measurements on ur body. they can make alterations on the dress if it is possible. you can always ask them.

Well, I am short too (4'11"-5'0") so I see why you would be concerned. Maybe a store near you has one similar to it you can try on so you can see if one of that size would look okay on you. I think you should try it on because then you can see if it will overwhelm you before you spend the money for it. Good luck and congrats on your wedding. It is a beautiful dress, btw.

Why don't you see if a store in your area can order it for you so that in case they need to do alterations, you will have someone who is familiar with wedding dress alterations available. It is a lovely dress that would look good on someone of any height. As the priest at my church said "Every bride is beautiful"

You CANNOT order a gown without seeing it first. Just because it's gorgeous doesn't mean it will look good on you. I'm not saying it won't look good on you, but you don't know that it will. Find it somewhere and try it on.
