i know a child needs both , yet in this day and age it is not always that the parents stay together for the children... therefore if one mother or father had to be chosen to raise child on thier owm. who should it be and why.......? and if you have any opinons on where you would put a mother who sends her child off to be raised in a forgein country by her grandparents, them being the parents of her husband who has left her. he is living with his new partner now and has a happy life with his love and they have a child together and are their own family..

Probably the mother since the father is off to someone else. And maybe the father should be held responsible for the support of the children, while he is living his new life. Those children still have a lot of years of growing to do when they will need money to live on. And I don't suppose the grandparents have an endless supply. It seems to me the children should also have a say in what happens to them since they might resent the situation for the rest of their lives.

You are right children need both parents.
To your question, I think the children should be with the parent who can give then a stable life. If that is emotional or financial support then so be it. The needs of the children have to come first. If both parents screwed up and are calling it off the children should not have to suffer because of that.

I think children should be with both parents as much as possible. I know in a perfect world that nothing is ever 50/50 but if BOTH parents are capable of taking care of the children then they both should be allowed to. My children are split up pretty equally between my ex and I and they are just fine. I would never deprive them of spending time with their father because he is just as important as I am in their lives. There are many people that think that just because the mother gave birth that means they are better off. That isnt always the case.

This is a touchy subject for many of us men who have had dealings with our biased court system . . . it should be looked at (not statistically ) but on a case by case basis as to which parent is more capable of the tasks involved in raising children. Thank GOD for people like Brittney Spears who has PROOVED this point in the limelight.

Ok, right off the bat this is NO OFFENSE TO THE MEN OUT HERE!! I think it should be the mother because that is what GOD put us here for. Remember, there is no love like a mothers love(if she is a good one). We have a certain ability to nurture a child in a way a man can not. Men and women have different emotions.

last time i checked, it was the parent that had the most time to contribute positively in a child's life. sounds like neithe rof those parents had any real interest. wow, that has got to scuk for the kid. unless it was her decision to go to another country for school.
the father had no business letting his daughter out of the country without his premission. so he let her go. yikes. that's a lifetime of therapy sessions for that child. becuase no matter no matter how you look at it, neither parent wanted the responsibility of that child.

They did mine and my son's father's authentic there interior the workplace. So i'd assume it somewhat is a few thing they'd do in any state. it is not proper who's on the delivery certificates the two, they do paternity exams no rely what.
