For example, I remember my dad taking me to the library on a fall day and feeling happy. I also remember going christmas shopping with my parents at night and it started to snow and we got home and drank hot chocolate. I also remember my dad bought home a a nursery rhyme record and a stuffed animal one day when i was sick, I loved it. Funny how odd little moments become fond memories.

I remember in the winter time, my dad would come out while we were out playing and have snowball fights with us and then he'd grab my mom and dump her in the snow, we played for a while and then my mom would go in and make hot chocolate and apple cider. I also remember my dad taking me to the mall, it was the first and only time he ever did, but I'll never forget it. One last one, One year I spent the summer at my cousins house in Alabama and my mom called and told me that she had a suprise for me when I came home and when I did, she had redecorated my whole bed room with Raggety Ann and Andy. I'm now 30ish :):) and I'll never forget all that my parents have done. I wouldn't change that for the world.

I remember my dad reading bedtime stories to us. I remember my mom always giving us a party and cake on a rainy day and would invite all our friends over. Taking us to the drive-in theater in our pj's with soda and a bucket of chicken and mosquito repellent. My parents would take us to Philly Christmas Eve and my dad would drive back home (Maryland) to put the presents under the tree and drive back to Philly before we woke up and when we got home and saw the toys, boy our eyes lit up. Those were the good old days. Thanks for helping to bring back some of those memories.

Going to the drive-in movies and seeing all the old Dracula and Frankenstein movies with my Dad. He was a Methodist preacher but he and I loved those movies! Also going to the Dairy Queen Sunday nights after church for hot fudge sundaes! Also, going to my Grandparents home every Christmas Day with our new toys Santa had left for us! Those were the good old days!

I remember going to dairy queen just for ice cream and playing in the park with my Dad. I remember not too long ago gazing up at the stars and him telling me what they were. My Dad passed away last year. Gazing at the stars with him was one of my last and most cherished memory of him.
