i was making out with my gf while she is on her period. i looked down at her pants and there was blood on them. normally, with past girlfriends, i would have been like "ewww" but with her, it didn't gross me out. does this mean i'm really into her or am i just a freak?

I read this in a dating for dummies book:

"Relationships need frequent, in person quality time to thrive."

Agree or disagree?

I agree with it, but a friend of mine disagrees. He's divorced and commitment phobic. I think it's true because you can't really know someone and have a relationship if you never see the person. Email, phone and IM are fine, but it's not the same. I think that's why long distance relationships don't often work out. He thinks that because that's my belief that I'm setting myself up for failure with dating. We're just friends btw (I'm 28 and he's 60)...so this isn't about me and him. Just wondered what others' thoughts were.

Well, my name is Russell.... I'm a sophomore in High school and my mom just had her best friend's daughter come and live with us about 5 months ago and we began to butt heads from the 2nd week!

Nikita, is in the same grade as me but we don't have any classes together (thank god!) and we are two, completely different people. In Kodiak, my home town and home for a lot of my younger years is commonly referred to as "The Rock", because not many people ever leave!

The youth there, unlike here (Mat-Su Valley, Mainland Alaska) is like, well I guess you can call it a lot like the "ghetto".. at least where she is from.

We get along every once in a while... actually more often than not, and when we fight it become this huge grudge. Often times... usually, she is acting like an 8 year-old on drugs. She thinks she is all that and that whatever she does, goes. Well, it doesn't and I think someone needs to show that to her and make her realize that she is ruining her own life and future.

ok, so ive been with this guy for like 4 months or so now, and we broke up, and he got with another girl, but then he came back to me, but like i told him i wasnt gona be his rebound girl or watever. so he says he really wants to have sex with me, and like we talk so much and like every day, and it really seems like he cares about me, but i want to make sure that im losing it because i want to and not cuz i just feel like it will make him happy. but i told him this, and i said i want it to be with someone that i care about and that he cares about me too, he said that he did, and it seems like he does, but sometimes im just wondering if its an act, or if he really means it. and i know like all guys want it sex, so i really dont know if i should do it with him, cuz hes someone really special to me.

I always put my emotions into sex. I met a guy 2 days ago (our eyes and smiles met 1 week b4), i took him home but i told him i don't want sex with him before he came. He was trying other things that lead to sex, i kept stopping him because it felt uncomfortable, so eventually i told him he should go, he contacted me few hours later, he came over again for a while, he left for work, he came the next day and slept over, i had sex with him and now my EMOTIONS are involved! Here's the saddest part; i am moving in 1 week! I told him so when we hooked up, he was saying he doesn't want me 2 go and talking about visiting me.....He is coming over again tonight, and i'm not sure if he just wants to get laid or if he really likes me, he does appear to like me but you never know when it comes to men! I always set myself up for heartbreak, i am learning how to become a healthy minded and functional person, i just don't know how to practice it!
How do i stop myself from getting emotionally involved

I talk to my ex on the phone once a week. He calls me I dont call him. I dont mind we have good conversation but the feelings are still strong on my part. But he told me that he has strong feelings for a lady friend that has an STD (and a boyfriend).CRAZY! Why would he tell me that. I dont want to know. He told me a couple a weeks ago he could have seen us together if we had not moved apart??

His comment hurt my feelings

Im not messing with him at all (since we broke up) we live in two different states. Im just curious why the hell would he say that!!!

My birthday is coming up this week (i'll be 16) and my dad is going to take me to a really nice and expensive dinner place. about $40-50 per entree per person not including dessert. my dad wants to invite a bunch of his lady friends like he did last year... which i did not like. i do not want them to come because it is MY birthday and i don't really wanna see them. and the reason they come is because they get to go shopping with my dad before hand and he probably buys them stuff. AND They get a really nice meal FREE. so they pretty much use my dad. would it be wrong to say i don't want them to come? i feel bad b/c he is planning them to come... what do i do? and then he would have to tell them i don't want them to come (probably a couple ladies)

I have a feeling he is still hung up on his ex wife. He says she is his friend, but he says he has to do this and that because if he doesnt do it, she will take him to court and he will have to pay much more in child support. I dont really call that a friend.
He lets her do his taxes. He pays for her cell phone. She was still on his checking account until I threw a stark raving fit.
She borrows his vehicles to drive and she is made privy to all my personal business. We have dated for about 5 yrs now since about 5 months after his divorce. I did not know him before this time.
She is re married. I think she is keeping her eye on the cash flow in order to get her share by keeping in his financial business which by the way he says is none of my business.
I think he is trying to be more than just her friend. I really believe he is having trouble letting go of the past. What do you think? They are divorced for 4 yrs now.

I lived at the same house, went to the same school, had the same (popular) set of friends, and everything was the same until my parents got divorced when i was about 13. im 16 now. i started out at a new high school 2 years ago when i was a freshman. now im a junior., i still don't have a good, solid group of friends like i did at my old school. i am always stressed and anxious at my new school and pretty much 24/7 b/c i have never adjusted to it here. i dont even have one person i can call a "true" friend here. i just can't relate well to the people here.i don't know what to do, this really affects my health. i now get panic attacks, migraines,i grinded my teeth in my sleep alot and now my jaw hurts sometimes, headaches, and alot of stuff from the stress. i don't know what to do. i exercise about 1 hr. a day but that still hasn't helped relieve my stress. idont know how i can ever adjust to living here...what can i do?? i feel hopeless. i cant do anything until 2 years from now when i

my 26 and 29 year old kids, one of them even has 2 kids here too. thay are mad at me because i make them pay rent..
not much just 50 a week. my bills went way up when they moved in. and i cant aford it.

Even men that are in their late 50's still make fools of us faithful ladies. I think it's thanks to Viagra. After 8 yrs of living together, I find recipets, on line hook ups, and questions he chokes on when I confront him. My heart is so broken. Nice guys finish last is so true. So there is this guy in my theatre class who I thought was really funny and weird, but still cool, you know?? Well, we started hanging out during our free periods and once at my house and he ended up asking me out. He's a senior, I'm a freshman. I managed to weasel my way out of it, but now he's obsessed!!!! He askes me to call him, won't stop messaging me on facebook, shows up at my locker... He even asked my friend what my scedual was. I was with my ex bf for 3 years and we even lived together the whole time (i know crazy!). I broke up with him because I realized that he started to take me for granted and wasn't putting enough effort into the relationship. I did so much for him and he did nothing. His parents told him he should try to get me back because I'm such a great girl. He also found out that I was dating other guys. Three months after we broke up he wants to get back togehter now saying that he's changed, he's realized his mistakes and he will treat me better. Do I get back with him? Could he only want me back because he is jealous and he misses me? btw I was his first gf.
