There are some people who just really enjoy insulting people. It's like a hobby to them. They like to come here because they can be as mean as they want with no real repercussions.

The best response is to NOT respond. Engaging them in "conversation" only adds fuel to their fire and makes them feel better about their sad little lives.

You are going to get a lot of answers, and all you can do is ignore them. (Or give them thumbs down and they go away. )

People get nasty because either they ARE nasty, or they have had a nasty experience.

Since you don't share your questions, I am going to share some of my feelings here instead of your other question. When my parents got divorced (I was in my 20s, but had a brother in his teens) I called my mom some pretty nasty names for "taking alimony" because, basically, I thought of it as the same as getting paid for sex.

Now I have grown some. I have seen how being out of the workforce really affects many things like your ability to make income, your retirement savings, and the respect you get in the workforce. My mother will never make the money she would have made had she not taken 15 years off to raise a family. Honestly, she is so bright and hard working, I think she could be easily making double what she makes now. Plus, she has to save for her own retirement -- they were together 28 years so that is a LOT to be saving up.

Don't let people get you down with their responses. This is an open forum, and so you will get a lot of opinions. Just listen to the ones that seem sincere (not necessarily just the ones you agree with) and ignore the rest. And don't rely on anything you see here as more than just someone's opinion.

There are a lot of ignorant people on here. They also go around giving people the thumbs down for decent answers. I don't know what is wrong with them. Hopefully you got some good answers to your questions.

in simple terms going by ability of the solutions right here no its no longer maximum liberals right here attempt to furnish information and examples of ways issues are or the way issues have long gone in the previous yet those are thoroughly ignored by ability of the nicely suited and then they suited questions like yours attempting to make themselves appear like there the calm questioning ones. As a individual who has had various questions canceled by ability of the conservatives right here by way of fact my question did no longer consider there have faith equipment i might could say in simple terms the alternative is actual.

If you walk like a duck and quack like a duck, why do you get offended when someone calls you a duck?

Remember, the value of an answer, is not based on how close it comes to your own thoughts, but how close it comes to the truth.

Yes and it's ignorant. But you have to rise above that. Ignore it and go on. Take it with a grain of salt.

They have probably had a bad experience with that type of situation and were venting their own anger, attacking you because of their baggage from being burned.

First - recognize the issue is with the other person. Smile politely - say "thank you" and find someone else to talk to - QUICKLY!
