we were playing bball and he is 3 inches shorter than me so i was like:
shorty come get the ball
and it was funny but..

"SHORTY" is that weird to call my bffl guy friend that?
or should i think of a new nickname?
and he is pretty short out of ALL of his friends except a few

There's this girl on my soccer team. she is blonde, rich, plays soccer, nice, pretty.. and everything pretty much.
she NEVER has any trouble getting guys and guys just attract to her even though she's a "dumb blonde", super flirty, and i'll bet she's DEFINITELY NOT a virgin..
but why do guys like girls that like?
i mean, they just like..listen to her evey word and try to impress her..

I'm stresssed from weding plans, and this semester college courses. I am trying extra hard to do evrything, and its turning it all wrong! I am failing all my course because I was stupid enough to take a Math and Chem course the same semester. On top of that I've been sick because all the stress. I cannot sleep because I'm always studying, or planning the wedding. I just don't know what to do?

Holidays you spend your time with your family. Besides that is what it is about. Here is my story my wife does not feel accepted by my brother and his wife. I can understand her not feeling comfortable because he doesnt even call me. I have missed my nieces and nephews ball games from the getgo. If I go to a game it is because my dad tells me they have a game. My wife her side of the family is closer they call each other everyday. I feel more accepted by her family than I do my own. My dad still sees me as a child and not a man. My brother me and my wife feel like he has issues with me. I have tried to talk with them about our problems in the past no solution was made. I just found out today that my other brother in Tulsa invited my parents down for Thanksgiving that made my wife feel not so welcome I dont blame her. How should I approach everything? I tell my wife everyday that she is my family now. Any ideas or solutions.

I like this girl and we are both shy. We are in each others history class and we sit next to each other. I am pentecostal and my fiance is catholic. We are both grew up in church but do not attend regularly, but our families do. I have been with the same guy for 5yrs (never broke up once throughout this relationship). We have talked about marriage and he tells me that he wants to wait until he is 30 (propsal at 28-29)to get married, I on the otherhand would like to be engaged around the age of 26, and will wait at least 2 years to get married. I just dont know if I want to wait that long to get married. Right now we are both 23-24yrs old, and obviously do not have the money to get married anytime soon, nor can afford an apt, condo, house (you get the pic.). I guess I can understand why he wants to wait: A year ago friends of ours got married and recently had a baby, in a ton of debt, and live with her grandparents, my b/f says he does not want to start out in debt, and would like to save as much as possible before beginning a future with me. My question to you all is, how long would you wait, and does this sound like a reasonable answer that he is giving me? I love him to death and am trying to save as well.

It started with junk food and cookies from the cupboards, he would get up really early and eat like a whole box of bear paws and hide the wrappers around the house. This has been going on for about a year now we hide stuff and for a while he's good then we would think he's over the phase and leave something out. then he does it again. Now its money not just small change but $10 bills are going missing and I am finding them in his pockets. he says he needs the money to go to the store. Now I have always been the type of Mom that if your good you'll get whatever you want so going to the store for an ice cream is just a question away. why is he stealing. He has an older brother who has never displayed any of this behavior and a sister thats 2 so I doubt she's teaching it to him.

My school is holding a trip to D.C. in February, and i really really wanted to go, especially since i didn't go to the last trip to Philadelphia last year. I'm a straight A student, and even though i can be moody sometimes (as a teen) i don't do anything really wrong. But, we went to a meeting about it last night, and my mom heard its $249, and now she's saying "i don't know" and stuff.... translation, 'no, probably not.' because of the cost issue, and that we might be going on vacation sometime after that. She also doesn't like the fact it's in the winter. It would be really fun, like all my friends are going, how do i convince them that they shouldn't pass up on this once-in-a-lifetime chance?

i want to do things...i want to meet new people...i want to make friends...and i do go out to clubs and stuff to do all these...but i cannot hold a conversation for a long time...im fluent in english...but i cannot talk in english as much as i do in my native language...i can crack some real good jokes in my language...but in english i cannot do that very often...i know i m funny..but when i try to put in english..it doesnt sound funny... i do know that..what is the best solution for this?

Also i want to change my attitude towards people? I lose interest in some people after a couple of meetings? Am I judging people?

Ok so i kicked the problematic bridesmaid out...thats not what i feel guilty about...

My mother calls me today while im at work and says "Since AJ is no longer in the wedding party lets add your cousin 'ann'. " I said "but i originally wanted her to be the guestbook attendant". Mom says "no i think we need to make her a bridesmaid" ....
So my fiance decides he really wants another cousin in the wedding..fine....ok....im frustrated at this point and i called mom and said "let's put her in the wedding as a bridesmaid"

So she gets excited and calls her, she says "does she really want me in the wedding?" mom says "Of course she does!"

So i get this email from anns mother saying "ann really wants to know if you want her in the wedding" yeah I do want her in the wedding...so i told mom "what if my bridesmaids talk about how AJ got kicked out"
mom was like "YOU JUST WANT ME TO FLIPPING STAY HOME DON'T YOU? YOURE CREATING DRAMA THATS NOT THERE" uhm...no..my girls talk....

I recently started seeing someone who I think is absolutely amazing in every way. Here's the issue...I'm caucasian and he is Asian (NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME--IT'S MY FAMILY I'M WORRIED ABOUT). I am 27 years old so nobody can tell me who to date and I am sure that my mother and sisters will love him, BUT my father and grandparents are old-school German and I know that they will make racist remarks. I want to prepare them both before meeting. I don't want my grandparents to say anything that will hurt him or offend him and I also don't want him to be shocked by their ignorance if they do slip-up. Even if they don't say anything to his face, I know that when I talk to my father he is going to have "nicknames" for him. I fight with my father's side of the family a lot due to their closed-mindedness...how should I handle this???

My mother's worsening mental illness is affecting my ability to work (I am a graduate student). She lives with my father and is very far away. To visit them frequently, I have even modified my academic schedule & deadlines to accommodate holidays but I am not sure if this is the right thing to do. My friends are telling me that as an adult, I should be focusing entirely on school. On the other hand, she is becoming less and less of the person I once knew and I feel like I need to spend as much time with her as possible, and that if I concentrate too much on work and school right now, I might regret it later. Am I right? or are my friends right?

Oh my god! I am pregnant with my first child, and he is due any day now pretty much! Okay, so my Mom in law is going to drive me nuts!!! First of all, she calls him "Her baby!" She says things like,"Take care of MY baby!" HE IS MY BABY! Secondly, I know she will stay in the room after I deliver ALL DAY LONG!! That is TOO MUCH!! My mom won't even stay that long! Lastly, her daughter just had a baby and I got a taste of how things will be and she treats that baby like it is hers,"LET ME CHANGE HER! LET ME FEED HER! I HAVE TO HOLD HER!" I know that she will try to take over when she is here visiting and it will drive me CRAZY! How do i handle this with class and without killing her?

i was with a guy who i liked a whole lot and when westarted going out he like me then he started to change we didn't even talk or hug or say hi....and i knew he didn't like me but at the same time he wouldn't dump me soi i broke up with him... he don't really care.. and i think he likes my friend so i daredher to ask him out and he told her i don't know and he didn't tell her no so technically he might like her i asked her if he asked her out what would she say and she said i don't know..plus i still like him but i knew i had to break up with him if he didn't like me and i see him all dayand if my friend says yes then it's gonna be hard seeing them together but she didn't tell me what she would say IF he asked her out... so now i feel like crap so what do i do?
