I'm not very good for buying for guys. Last year was the first time I'd had to buy something for some male friends. I got them both a Linx deoderant set and I got my boyfriend at the time a dvd of a band he liked.
This year with my boyfriend, I have no idea what to get him, and he wont help me... I was going to buy him a jacket because he doesn't have many and he's always so damn cold. But I want to get him other things too because I feel that a jacket isn't enough. So yeah, depends on what the guy likes.. sports, music, beauty products etc

Socks and DVD's??? Lol...heck, want some great things like a nice place to live, more stability in my life, an opportunity to finish a book I am writing, time to relax, time to hike...etc.

And one last thing, I'd like a family that doesn't resemble a pit of vipers.

I know, this is a really tall order for Santa, but hey, I am a big girl and I deserve good things!

gadgets, something to play with (which may include you wearing only a smile :D )

if he has a console- figure out what his fav kind of game is.
if he has a camera - upgrade or buy software like photoshop
a voucher for PCworld does wonders.
Music lover- try to see if you can get tickets to one of his favourite bands (hidden in a CD case)

think about your guy and his interests and then up the stakes a little.
just like girls.. we like to be given some thougt behind the present with xmas..
truth be told we won't be screaming our heads of if you get it wrong .. we are used to this over years of having to get it right with women we paid little attention to what we really wanted.. as long as the girl was happy .. I was happy.

So perhaps socks with a big kiss and a card telling him how wonderful he is will be his best present ever :o)

have fun!!

I think you gotta think what these guys really like.I could tell you sports stuff, but if he's not into sports, he may not like to get that. Try and think what they really like.If he's a book reader, listen to his discussion about his favorite books and get creative with it.Maybe there's an old show that he may have enjoyed when he was younger that's coming on dvd or has some shirts related to it out now.Go for that. Hope that it helps.

A case of beer, some ear plugs, and an industrial sewing machine, that does blanket stitch, for the mother outlaws mouth on boxing day to stop the nagging.

You don't have to spend a lot of money on your man, give him something small but personal. What I would like for Christmas is a nice picture of my girlfriend.

Men aren't all giddy like women. They actually do mean "it's the thought that counts." Just buy them nice clothes, sports stuff, gift certificates to fav. places or a car wash! you should know what your man likes, go with it. They aren't hard to please, that's for sure.
