i was with a guy who i liked a whole lot and when westarted going out he like me then he started to change we didn't even talk or hug or say hi....and i knew he didn't like me but at the same time he wouldn't dump me soi i broke up with him... he don't really care.. and i think he likes my friend so i daredher to ask him out and he told her i don't know and he didn't tell her no so technically he might like her i asked her if he asked her out what would she say and she said i don't know..plus i still like him but i knew i had to break up with him if he didn't like me and i see him all dayand if my friend says yes then it's gonna be hard seeing them together but she didn't tell me what she would say IF he asked her out... so now i feel like crap so what do i do?

ok first, have you ever thought that things changed between the two of you when you went together because you were nervous around him or you were nervous to talk to him
it happens all the time
and i can tell you now, if your friend said 'i dont know' to a question like that, she most likely would say yes to him, because if she wouldnt, it would be because she did not like him and she would let you know right then and there but if she knows you just broke up with him and you still like him, she wouldnt say yes to your face about it, that would make EVERYTHING VERY awkward.
one thing you can do is to ask your friend and tell her that knowing really means something to you and in all serious, for her to just tell you
or you can talk to the boy and ask him WOULD he even ask her out or if he likes her (if he says i dont know, thats probably a yes, but still keep in mind, he would say yes to your face either because he probably knows why you are asking)
