If a girl looks pretty, has good body and nice personality and you all stare at her but you don't have the guts to approach her, how would you like to be approached by her? What would you want her to say?

Honestly, the best approach is come up with some question to ask him. Even if you already know the answer, just ask him something that you know he'll be able to answer.
Try to come up with something that requires a bit more of a conversation than What time is it.
Maybe ask if he knows where some place is(perhaps a classroom if you're still in school). He can explain it to you and if it's complciated you can follow that up with a "Can you show me after class" I know, you may know exactly where it is, but sometimes guys need you to make them feel like they can help you. It gives us the confidence to approach the beauties of the world.

Depends on what you want out of a guy. If you want a guy that is assertive and confident then you're probably better off waiting on a guy to approach you. Most guys don't approach great looking girls, because they either think they're not good enough... which is not the guy you want, or they assume you already have someone because you are good looking. I would say just try to put some signals out there that you are single and make him to the leg work. Good luck.

just strick up a conversation any say like hi how are you, my name is , and se if you can hang out and ask him if he would like to see you sometime, and give him your phone number and get his, and go from there,what city do you live in?

i read this in cosmo:
if you're at a party or something like that, just go up to them and say "hey have you seen my friend, her name is blah and she looks like blah" even if you came alone. then just talk to them while you 'wait' for her.
