Well, my best friend (Tina) is dating a boy, which i have no problem with at all. But it seems everything we do revolves around him. All the conversations end up about him. Im sick to death of it. My other best friend who is also best friends with Tina has stopped talking to her completely cause Tina talks about her boyfriend so much. It annoys both of us.

On halloween we ended up standing outside his house for 20 mins watching him in the window. I was bored and that was the final straw.

So just now on MSN i said "I'd rather not see you while your dating this guy." and shes meant to be my best friend and she just said "o ok." My other best friend told her to choose her or to stick with her boyfriend. And she chose her boyfriend..

I dunno if I did the right thing, but I just need some advice to point me into the right direction cause i just dunno at the mo. Im feeling slightly used :S But shes still my best friend and i'll miss her alot not hangin out with her for a while..

I'm all for the text for short answers, quick thoughts while on the move etc. This man ONLY texts me. I didn't mind at first, I stay very busy, texting is a good way to multi-task. Now it's ALL he does. Texts anytime of the day, w/phrases "I wish I was there with you" & variations of that. Have known him for 2 years, one we worked together. I never see him(we live 1 hour away). Recently I asked him if he was waiting on a personal genie to grant him the "I wish I was there with you" wish. He got upset (well as much as one could over a text!), saying I thought you were rejecting me, blah blah blah. UGH! Anytime, he asks to go out, it's w/in hours of going. So I'm always turning him down, I need more time than that. I'm not too busy for a relationship, just too busy for useless communication. Of course, I dig this guy. We havn't been intimate what-so-ever so that is not an issue. How to move this forward? Or bother to? He isn't married or in a relationship. We are both pretty busy w/work.

My aging brother met a woman on the internet who lives in the Phillipines. The romance was immediate, love at first webcam session, and has been going on for only 3 months now. He just got word of recieving a sizeable inheritance, and bango the relationship escalated to getting married. He left for the Phillipines to get married to this lady who is described as 40, English teacher, born again Christain, no children and never been married. He arrived in Manila a few days ago and today is the wedding day. He said he has met her family so he knows this is legitimate and not a scam. He said women from the Phillipines don't have their families present if its a scam. Needless to say we are all worried back home in the USA. It happened so quickly. Any one else here know of situations like this??

hate for men?
Not to go in details here--had abusive father, and nearly raped by a date I just met. No good male role models in life. I know it's no excuse, but how do I overcome this hate for men. I trust in God and know He can help me.

I've already went to counseling and wrote a journal, but it hasn't helped much.
Anyone out there who is in similar situation or suggestions needed.

Hello Yahoo community,
Here is my dilemna. I have been married a long time with my husband and we have 2 teenagers and a 2 year old. I discovered my husband was cheating in 2005, but I had forgiven him and tried to move on with life. Here it is 2007, and I have found out that he is still sleeping with this same woman. He says that I am his queen and that she means nothing to him, so why is he still messing with her if this is the case. I have never cheated. I am in Nursing School and I am almost ready to graduate so I am not working and do not have any income. Basically I am trapped here. Any good advice out there? I feel so trapped, stupid for forgiving him, and hurt all at the same time.

I have gone through more anyone should and I am sorry for all of you that have gone through it. I love my husband and never believed I would ever divorce. I would work it out till the end. There has been domestic abuse in our relationship. There has been a lot of things that never should have been. My husband was illegal when we got married. Now hes got a greencard but has to stay married for 3 years. He refuses to divorce me but wants to seperate and have his own life. Hes tired of our family and wants to move on. If it wasnt for the fact that hes getting more and more mentally abusive, he calls me names, controls everything. Im ready to get out of it. He refuses to get help for his mental problems and wants everything done his way or no way. I hate this. But I still love this man and he hurts me so often anymore. Im ready. Can I file alone? Should I file? What if anything is left for me and my children?

Any ideas for something special?

... as an "allowance". (She is absolutely "drop-dead gorgeous", by the way!!) Plus she expects you to go with her shopping (and pay for everthing she buys! She is wearing VERY expensive designer clothes and is telling me how much she LOVES both the shoes AND red suede boots she is looking at in the store where you met; shoes cost $390, the boots $1200.) Plus she likes to go to "expensive restaurants" twice a week - she used the word "expensive". Plus expects trips to Europe, the Caribbean, etc several times a year.

Oh, and when we first met (in a very upscale restaurant), the bill (with drinks and a bottle of wine) was over $150.

This is absolutely true - it happened just last weekend!

Opinions, please???

I have recently fallen out with my friend. Before we fell out I lent her some money, it wasn't very much but to me, £10 is quite abit. About 2 weeks pocket money. Anyway, things between us have gotten very messy an I approached her reminding her about the loan. She told me I wouldn't get it back an it's really upset me as my Grandma gave it me for doing well at school and I don't see why I should let it go to someone is so nasty.
I lent it her on the condition that she would pay it back the following month. Its now been 3 months.
How can I get it back without making things worse than they already are. Help!

okay first off only serious answers please..
Me and my boyfriend are expecting our little one on March 6 of 2008. When We first found out I made him quit smoking cigarettes.I never smoked, did any drugs, or drink any alcohol.
Our relationship I find is relatively good. Although I am 16 and he is 20 the age didn't really bother him nor I. Most people find me more mature than most people.
The thing is, is that he smokes weed. And this is all . But I had a hard life growing up having a druggie for a mother and I want the best for our son. So Chris , my boyfriend, just called me from break and he was going to call my Uncle Chuck to see if he has any weed. And I got upset about it and told him I want him to quit smoking because I want the best for our son . And he got extremely upset about this. So like I told him it's either me or the weed. And he said he isn't going to quit smoking and then I told him that he might as well pack his bags. Than he threatened me about taking my son away

I know we love each other, but somehow our love making has become boring and very predictable. The passion is just not there anymore. It's like doing it just to do it. I want to do something to get that passion back, I want to make him want me. I want to get him interested again like it was at the beginning. We have been together for 2 yrs now. I am 25 and he is 30. Any ideas? He is a Geminis if there are any geminis out there that want to share what they like. I know all man are different and not all like the same. Just throw ideas at me and I'll know which one may or may not work for him. For example, porn movies, strip clubs or 3rd parties are not of his interest. He likes doing crazy stuff where he may be seen or caught. That drives him wild but can we do? We are too old to be trying stuff in the car like we used to, OK? LOL I dunno, HELP PLEASE

I read this somewhere... don't remember where.. but, I remember it exactly.

Ok, lets say you are sitting next to the girl you like in a movie theater or something. Then you ask her if she wants a kiss. If she looks at you all weird, you pull out a hersheys kiss out of your pocket and give it to her. If she doesn't give you a weird-awkward looking face, you kiss her.

I think its genius... lol. But, what do you guys think?

Well I am sure at least ONE of you guys has read the story I wrote of that guy i was crushing on and was looking for signals. Well I went to the casino yesterday and since some woman won 2000$ right next to me..that kind of broke the 'ice' between me and him. Since he was watching how much she won. We conversated about alot. Like 20 min later i saw him sitting down ..i looked back and he was one the phone..then looked again and him and some female employees talking to him were looking at me too. 2min later he comes up to me and said "i know you probably get this from alot of guys..but..i dont do this often *pulls out his card* this is my email and you can write me if you would ever want to go out sometime." And I was in SHOCK. i've never been given a number before! Now what do I do? And its like he said "I don't do this often" LOL what is that supposed to mean? That he really doesn't? or he flails his card every once in a while to women..(btw he is the casino host *why he has a card*)

The man I love is seventeen years my senior. We enjoy the same things, pretty much all of our likes/dislikes are the same as the other's. All in all, we get along very well. I want to be with him, but I'm sort of worried about what society might think about the age difference. We're from a place that has very old fashioned views about things.

Do you believe it is alright to date someone that is 17 years older? Both being of legal age of course. Should I just not care what people here think and be with him?
