Come up with a random observation or question such as [ie- 'Isn't the weather lovely today?' or 'Hey, you're in my algebra class right?'] After you start talking a little bit, you could say very smoothly, 'Oh, by the way, I'm [you're name here]. Nice to meet you!'
Be friendly and smile a lot! Yes, you will be nervous talking to him, but like I've said before, confidence is the one thing you can fake without anyone knowing!

i have the same feeling but he notices me and he likes me so ill give you some advice to make him notice you just like I did.....
1.Talk to him more often
2.Don't act retarded or stupid around him unless he likes retarded ans stupid but (not too much stupid)
3.Ask him if he wants a drink or something
4.He might notice you (it worked for me but i gave him a kiss instead of a drink)

make yourself shine in front of him. do all you can to catch his eye. wear something sparkly to school for an additional touch. if hes worth liking he'll notice you. once he does, take time to get to know him. then you'll see his true colors.
