... as an "allowance". (She is absolutely "drop-dead gorgeous", by the way!!) Plus she expects you to go with her shopping (and pay for everthing she buys! She is wearing VERY expensive designer clothes and is telling me how much she LOVES both the shoes AND red suede boots she is looking at in the store where you met; shoes cost $390, the boots $1200.) Plus she likes to go to "expensive restaurants" twice a week - she used the word "expensive". Plus expects trips to Europe, the Caribbean, etc several times a year.
Oh, and when we first met (in a very upscale restaurant), the bill (with drinks and a bottle of wine) was over $150.
This is absolutely true - it happened just last weekend!
Opinions, please???

This is absolutely a TRUE story!!
I offered to take her to dinner a second time, then drove us to a McDonalds. She did NOT think it was funny!
I did!! So I drove her home - without her "allowance"!
Honest to God's truth!

SternFan: We met online (a "Personals" site) then in-person in an upscale shopping mall; then later I took her to rather expensive restaurant she likes for dinner; I could afford it her "allowance".
PROS: I am NOT married; she is stunningly beautiful, intelligent, entertaining, very well-educated, vivacious, witty, funny, audacious and charming. She is a pleasure just to sit and talk with. About as close to the "perfect woman" as I have EVER met, except for ...
CONS: I just can't get past the "allowance" thing. I could afford it, easily. But knowing that a relationship with her is contingent on my paying her a monthy fee, and that her "friendship" is based solely on the money: that I cannot and will not ever understand. And SHE sees it as a "real friendship" - but that she has "expenses" and needs "help" with those expenses.
I knew the "McDonalds thing" would end it and I was right.

You sound very mature and It's great that at 22 yrs of age to be where you are at. Stay strong. First, pray that God lead you to the place(s) where you could meet Christian girls. However, that may not be part of Gods plan for you just yet. When it is meant to happen, it will. Is there any way you can find a bigger church to attend? How about going to places where you could meet people and maybe there will be Christian girls there. Such as, coffee shops, book stores where you can sit and read. Healthy places that aren't at the bar or clubs. You are definately on the right track. I'm sure God has the perfect person for you and He will bring you two together when He feels the time is right.

Holy freakin' cow!
Is she more in love with you or money? And are you more in love with her "drop-dead gorgeous" looks or the real her?
You need to answer these questions carefully. If she's in love with money and your in love with her looks, it will never work out and you'll both be upset in the end. Even if your a billonaire and can meet all her demands, what would happen if you suddenly lost all your money? I'll tell you, she'll drop you like a hot potato and move on to the next richest man in town. Real love is not about materialistic gifts and goodies from your partner, and she should know that. It's about loving the other person, not their cash or looks.
I say, the best bet is to drop her or dump her, but do it gently. Just because she might be evil if she dumps you, doesn't mean you have to be. Don't be angry, just calmly explain that you can't be the boyfriend of someone that doesn't really love you.

Well, she is what you call a mistress. She is an attractive young lady willing to be your girlfriend for a price. And it sounds like that price is pretty high.
If you have a lot of money and it is not problem, go ahead and enjoy it. It is not illegal. Mistressing like that does not fall under the prostition definition on the law books. It is a form of legal prostitution, affordable only by the wealthy.

Saying it is so, doesn't make it so. If she exists, I think she might be using you—do you think? Sounds like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman only not as nice. If you really have the money necessary, you must know that there are truly some interesting solid women out there and lots to do..

You are kidding....lol
I personally wouldn't want to be around someone who is only in a relationship for money.
Why would you pay an allowance to keep one girl? If you want to throw your money around like that, just get new girls every weekend. It would be a lot cheaper. That's the only reason for having this girl -for sex- right?

gold digger...
you like her for her looks.
you have the money.
she likes you ( or money should i say)? if she does
do whatever you please.
but she just wants your money BTW
what hey! if she makes you happy
&& money makes her happy.
go for it!
but do want a relationship with a high maintenance girl?
who wants you for ONLY your money and not her love and compassion for you?
and watch she is going to get annoying..
and be the clinging type...
and you would want some time guy-time. and she won't let you allow it. but hey is that worth sacrificing?
good luck!

She sounds perfect! (If you want a "trophy" girlfriend, that is).
Is being "drop dead gorgeous" enough for you? If so, then go for it. If not, there are plenty of gorgeous, intelligent, talented, spiritual, and kind women out there. I know, because I am one. Oh, sorry, but I'm taken.

She's looking for a sugar daddy - and you sound like a married man looking for a mistress. If your'e not - then run a mile. In fact, run a mile anyway.

By God, unless you are a billionaire, forget it. Tell her you can't afford that, and if she leaves, go meet someone worthwhile. If she is just a b****, then don't meet her again, and if you really like her, then get a high paying job and a privet jet.
:)
I say leave her. ..
