She's legally seperated, and her and her husband are good friends, but he cheated on her so much that she lost faith in men, and no longer wanted to be inimate with him, and she's doesn't want to break her vows.

Sounds like she is a principled woman. Until the divorce is final she is right not to break her vowes. That would make her the same as her stupid husband.

Even in the Bible, divorce was acceptable in the case of adultery. He's a bum and she shouldn't let his sin ruin her future. However, if this has hurt her so much she may be permanently through with men. That often happens in such cases.

No, I don't think it's strange. It is just a personal choice. Everyones different. Besides, celibacy has it's benefits too. No awkward entanglements and no STD's.

why then does she stay married to him? makes no real sense, if someone cheats on you then you divorce them and no longer are friends with them because they had no respect for you. something doesnt add up

I think it is more strange that she hasn't filed for divorce from the SOB.....She shouldn't worry about breaking vows...the *sshole she is married to broke them first....
