Even in the Bible, divorce was acceptable in the case of adultery. He's a bum and she shouldn't let his sin ruin her future. However, if this has hurt her so much she may be permanently through with men. That often happens in such cases.

No, I don't think it's strange. It is just a personal choice. Everyones different. Besides, celibacy has it's benefits too. No awkward entanglements and no STD's.

why then does she stay married to him? makes no real sense, if someone cheats on you then you divorce them and no longer are friends with them because they had no respect for you. something doesnt add up
