I'm all for the text for short answers, quick thoughts while on the move etc. This man ONLY texts me. I didn't mind at first, I stay very busy, texting is a good way to multi-task. Now it's ALL he does. Texts anytime of the day, w/phrases "I wish I was there with you" & variations of that. Have known him for 2 years, one we worked together. I never see him(we live 1 hour away). Recently I asked him if he was waiting on a personal genie to grant him the "I wish I was there with you" wish. He got upset (well as much as one could over a text!), saying I thought you were rejecting me, blah blah blah. UGH! Anytime, he asks to go out, it's w/in hours of going. So I'm always turning him down, I need more time than that. I'm not too busy for a relationship, just too busy for useless communication. Of course, I dig this guy. We havn't been intimate what-so-ever so that is not an issue. How to move this forward? Or bother to? He isn't married or in a relationship. We are both pretty busy w/work.

I think I would tell him I wasn't replying to his text messages anymore, then stick to it. If he calls and wants to talk, by all means do so. If he wants to visit and talk and you can arrange a mutually acceptable time, do so. But this text only relationship will not go anywhere. Sorry. Best wishes.

Sorry to say that this is not the man for you.

A good clue is your desire for more notice and his spontaneity. Both are completely legitimate and reasonable ways to live one's life but are quite incompatible in a couple. Believe me, if you two got together, that aspect of him would make you crazy. He won't change and neither will you.

He dosen't even have the time to call you? Hmm well it's your choice if you like him go for it and if you loose interest then there's other guys out there in this world.
