My wife left me about a month ago but still calls.
She calls to go over and over all the stuff I have done
to her. But then I ask why is she calling and she says she wants to see how I'm doing. She says she wants a divorce but I have my doubts as I heard her giggle a couple of times when I made a few jokes on the phone. After she giggles she catches herself, and then gets all serious and says that this is not a joke and stuff. I just feel she does not want to divorce me but is trying to teach me a lesson. This is her way of getting me to listen to her.

I told her that I was waiting for the economy to turn around so I would have a better chance of getting hired. She is always complaining about paying my mobile phone bill but I help out around the house like cleaning and picking her up from work.

We have been together for a year now and their are alot of things that I have put up with during this time. I love him. However, I am finding him hard to deal with to the point that I am cursing him out left and right. Because of him, I feel uncomfortable talking to men because he acts as if every man I speak to has an alterior motive to screw me. I can't have guys on my myspace page because he thinks that it is a form of trying to get with someone else. He wants me to cook and wash clothes all the time (which isn't really a problem but I don't want to feel obligated to do it for him). My best friend and I went shopping for 2 hours after work and he got really upset over it thinking that we were doing something else. My best friend and I talk about everything. He feels that he is obligated to be told everything too. He wants to be my best friend too (which I clearly understand) but he wants to know my every move and step. Their is more but no more room. What are your thoughts??

My friend is dating a guy who is still legally married. The wife left for a year or so and established residence in another state with another man but then came back and has been in the marital home for a few years. My friend believes that her boyfriend (the husband) can now still claim the wife abandoned the home and the marriage, therefore she won't be entitled to anything in the divorce settlement. I told her I don't think this is true because he allowed the wife to move back into the home and she has been there for like 3 or 4 years since she initially left. Does anyone have the answer to this or a way around it? Also, are there some good legal resources I could point her to? We live in Virginia.
PS: I know she should leave this guy; I told her that many times but she doesn't want to. She has been my best friend for 14 years and I want to support her decisions. She asked for my help.

my bf & i finished this week after a year together. it has ended badly after a series of rows in which he accused me of being inconsiderate for his feelings etc & i was really starting to think his behaviour was very controlling & dominating.

but, for the first time i had made the decision split...normally he finshes with me then i apologise for something i dont feel i have done wrong in the first place.

however, i still feel sad about the split & about plans we had made for the future. he could be a really nice person at times but that gave way to being insecure & accusing me of things.

what should i do?

My 14 yr old daughter is getting close with with the director's son. The director though, is also my boss. She claims that they're just friends but I saw them holding hands. I also heard her friends talking about it and talking about how ugly he is and she agreed and again repeated that they are only friends. should i allow her to go out with my boss' son?
