I told her that I was waiting for the economy to turn around so I would have a better chance of getting hired. She is always complaining about paying my mobile phone bill but I help out around the house like cleaning and picking her up from work.

u shuld get a job! nothings worse than having a bf that sits around and does nothing, but says "well i clean, so you should pay my phone bills!"
-go ahead, wait for economy to turn, but do you know how long that might take?????? get a side job at least, working at mcdonalds at minimal pay at least, just get enough to support yourself! dont make your gf pay everything for you!
-thats pathetic and im sure she's having thoughts of breaking up with you as well. if anybody's gonna do the breaking up, it better be her because she has a valid point tellin you to get a job. i mean think about it! im young and i know this stuff! life's not a party, so get off your butt and do something to support the house you live in, not to mention your gf!

As a man you should be ashamed of yourself of letting a woman handle all the business. She should break up with you, doing housework is the least you can do if she's working and paying the bills. I say she's not nagging enough. You need to quit it with that BS excuse about the economy, and you need to find a job like yesterday

If you don't put in applications, you have no chance of getting a job, no matter what the economy. If you put in applications you have a least some chance. and no matter how bad the economy you should be able to find a job. unless you just enjoy being a lazy bum. I am auprised she hasn't broken up with you yet. and if you do break up with her, where are you going to go?? you have no job, so are you goign to go live with your mommy?? get a life

the chance to have a job doesnt solely depend on the economy of a country but on how ur eagerness to find a job. I dont consider that either to be nagging you in telling you to find a job but instead a way to tell you her income is not enough for your daily necessities. She might even consider a family in the future who knows?????a stable boyfriend is someone to be proud of.. If i were you i will love her more instead asking for a break...

I'm sure McDonalds will employ you, at least you won't have her bitching and you actually contribute to the household income.

Sounds like you are the classic freeloader get a job and pay your way. If you want to work there are plenty of jobs out there. The people who are able to work and not are lazy. the way it sounds,you will learn about the street life shortly. You should be treating your girl like a queen anyways. Taking care of her not her taking care of you. By the way if you cant pay for your own cell you dont need one.

im certain you are not her child for her to be supporting you. get a job ,there is nothing like having your own. and also with both of you working, the bills will be paid on time, every time.
