Six months ago I was seeing my friend/co-worker. We were together for a few months and things were good except I have panic disorder (triggered by something totally different but it affected all my decisions) and I just ended it. He was terribly hurt (although I did not know that he felt that strongly about me).

We are now back to good friends and spend quite a bit of time together.

2 weeks ago we were out and had a few drinks and we kissed. Since then he has been hot and cold. I asked him 'what's the go?' and he says he doesn't feel the same about me anymore. On the Saturday night we went to visit him and he was asleep... he seemed to wake and started kissing me and we started sleeping together. He seemed very into it and was acting normal for the situation. About half an hour later he stopped and then said he couldn't do this, and said he had no idea what was happened and was upset. Now things are terrible. I still want to be with him and my panic disorder is fine now. HELP!

There is a guy that I'm seriously interested in and we have been talking on the phone and seeing each other for about 5 months now. He has pursued me since I became a member of the church 3 years ago. Every time I mention, "why haven't you asked me to be your girlfriend?", he says he has good reasons why he hasn't done so yet. What does that mean?? Now bare with me people, this is all new to me and I obviously need to be ENLIGHTENED!! The thing that really gets me is when other people ask me if he wants a serious relationship with me he quickly answers yes to them, but when I ask he acts as if he can't get his words together. Why won't he just simply answer me the way he answers everyone else? Is he playing with my mind, or what? HELP!!!!

I have always maintained good a working relationship with my Ex-husband. We both agreed that everything we did we would put the children's best interests first.

I have never undermined the children's Step-mother and most often agree with her parenting methods and tell my children so.

I have never been anything other than friendly and civil towards her, however she does not extend me the same courtesy. She sometimes sends nasty emails (one received this morning), trying to make me feel guilty about not being my sons full-time mother.

For more than 10 years now I have maintained the ability not to respond to her baiting me, but I am getting tired of this.

She has as many if not more problems than I and I could start throwing them in her face.

My sons are now 16 & 18 and very self-sufficient...I no longer feel like I need to keep up this facade for their benefit (they have their own opinions about, based upon their own experience of her.

What should I do?

I am the one that broke up with him. Not because I didn't like him anymore, but because he was hurting me. It kills me inside that he doesn't care about me anymore and that he doesn't call. He said he wants to be friends. I want to, too, damn it! I think about him everyday. I miss him everyday. I deleted him from my cell and I took him off my buddy list, but I can't keep myself from contacting him every few days, even when he is distant or is always like, "I'm sorry I was doing something" and thus, unable to respond.

I feel pathetic. How do I get over him???

why is it in divorce cases the wife always gets half of the man's things? if divorce was started by anyone cheating and the husband wasnt abusive or anything why does he lose half of his things?

in my last divorce i have lost my house, my two cars, all the belongings in the house, all furniture and any other items that were bought. i even lost the stuff that was bought before i was married because it was in the house. my wife got it all as she doesnt work and has no support, but she never wanted to work thats why we got divorced. why does this happen? i have seen numerous men having to deal with same situations. why?

It's funny how everyone keeps on saying: Just be yourself and everything will turn out fine.

What if being yourself bores and alienates people?

What do you do then?

I just need a bit of guidance. So my good friend was madly in love with a girl they broke up and she started seeing someone else. He of course started seeing someone else too. And of course after about two months of dating his new girl he got her pregnant. So from the beginning he said he would take care of the kid but didn't want to be with her. He and the girl that he was in love with were trying to work things out (she stopped seeing the guy she was dating) and like a month ago she decided that she couldn't deal with him having a kid with another woman and dumped him. My friend was devastated because he thought things were going so well and was in heaven thinking he would be with his ex girlfriend( who he wanted to marry). Now here' s the issue. He got back with the child's mother last week and mentioned proposing to her. I usually mind my own business but I'm concerned about his motivation of proposing to her. I don't know if i should voice my concern or keep my mouth shut.

today is my birthday, not a single friend or family member has even told me happy birthday.
This morning my boyfriend made bisquits for breakfast, tried a bisquits in bed thing but I had already been up for a few hours so it didnt quite work.
Anyways as the day goes on, we do nothing, nothing is said, pretty much we are having a day of nothing at home. He compliments me a bit more but it always leads to something sexual usually ending in him saying he's horny.

Anyways im upset since it seems no one cared, he asks me whats wrong, i tell him. He says after hes done with some stuff we'll go to dinner for my birthday.

I am not in love with food, it's just food to me not special or different eating out it just spending more money so you dont have to make it - it is NOTHING special to me. He knows this, i've told him a million times I dont like going to dinner for special occasions/holidays ect.
Anyways the fact that i told him i didnt want to go to dinner for my birthday comes up..

I have some friends and co-workers that I want to invite to our wedding ceremony (it's a big church) and then to the dancing part of the reception, but not the sit-down dinner. I hang out with them occassionally and have a good relationship so want them to be part of my day but are not as close as my family and friends that I've known for years - and of course there is the cost. Is that okay?

usually in a relationship, there are moments when you don't feel as passionate as u used to feel at the beginning of the relationship. At first, u go crazy if u don't talk for two days, but then it's ok if u don't talk for a week or so... and I could keep going on with stuff like that. My question is: How do u make sure whether u still love her or not after like two years? 'Cause there are moments when u just can't be sure whether it's love or not. How can you figure it out?

I just found this out by snooping in his things. I know that what I did is wrong since it is a breach of his privacy. But what he is doing is wrong and has to stop, so how do I deal with this without me divulging the snooping. I feel that there is something wrong with our relationship for why would he be into it.

We have 2 boys (14,6) he would never stick with one job, car, women. hHe has cheated many times and we would get back together. After 14 yrs i said no more! My boys should not have this idea this is what marriageis all about. the new gf is o n a schedule every day!! wake up at this time ,brush teeth ,fix hair,go to work, come home eat ,get ready for bed,no drinking no smoking and you cannot deviate from this routine. My reply was "you do not need anotrher mother" he said she is leading him down the right path! What!
i think she would like to change him. I says you love someone through thick and thin. NO ONE can change another person, and i believe you love someone for thier assets and faults. should i have said that?

First, please don't tell me to go to singles/dating. All children there. I have been divorced for 1 1/2 yrs. 2 months ago a man I was very much in love with ended our relationship. I have been trying to move on, but still love him so much. So, I was asked out by someone to go to lunch. Originally I said yes, then called him back and said no. The thing is that his kids are grown and gone, I still have two elementary school age. He had his early, I had mine late. I just don't see how long range this would work. We are too different stages of life even though we are about the same age. I know it is just lunch. But if I don't see how it could work long term, no sense someone getting hurt when it eventually ends right? Or am I just avoiding moving on? Would you have gone? It just seems like he has been there done that and I am still raising young ones. Reality check...what do you think?

I went on a 2nd date w/ 25 y/o good looking guy that revealed his "deepest secret" to me volutarily (I'm 25 too), which is that he swears he is still a virgin. But he told me was always out on party scene for last several yrs, and he had 6-yr relationship since HS and gf never gave it up to him and ended up sleeping w/ another guy. He was single for another 3 yrs. I find it hard to believe. He made a move at me by kissing me and holding hands at end of date. When he asked if he should call or email, i said email is impersonal, yet he still said he will email. He has been emailing and calls only to confirm a date. He said he wants to get to know me, but y wouldn't he call? Is he BSing about his virginity? Will a guy go that far to say he is a virgin just to get laid? I'm relationship type and won't sleep with a guy til months later. He said if i don't believe him, i can ask his buddies. How can I tell if he is telling the truth- see if he sticks around after 3 or 4 months?

Honestly, I don't do a lick of it if I can get away with it; I'm not very good at it and do my best to avoid getting better at it. My girlfriend usually just gives up trying to make me do any, but I've been told that I'm not correct in refusing to embrace the domestic joys.

Do you think that men and women should share household chores? Why or why not?
