Less apt to lie. Drinking tends to relax us and then all that is stored up will eventually spill out. "In vino veritas" in wine there is truth.

In my experience, most people tell the truth when they drink. My best friend was drunk several months ago and that is when I found out how he really felt about my husband: he hated him. Once, when I was drunk, I basically told this guy that I loved him. Drinking really makes most people tell the absolute truth, not worrying about the consequences.

when asked a direct question it is more likely that the truth will come out first as the drink had loosened the inhabitions. Lies will come to get what the person wants because the restrictions they might normally have against it are lessened and their desire for what they want is hightened.

I would say YES because it make you feel that you can do not have to do any thing you want and it is an way for people to say that they did not know what they were doing at the time because they were drunk but we all know that we do have a chose too.

I've noticed theyre more likely to tell the truth than lie if they get drunk. my ex used to get super drunk and i could ask him questions that he would normally lie about if he was sober. from personal experience i've noticed people are more honest when drunk..its kinda ironic..

In Vino Veritas.

(In wine, there is truth)

About unimportant things, such as boasting, they will lie more.

About important, deep searching soulful things, they will lie less.
