I went on a 2nd date w/ 25 y/o good looking guy that revealed his "deepest secret" to me volutarily (I'm 25 too), which is that he swears he is still a virgin. But he told me was always out on party scene for last several yrs, and he had 6-yr relationship since HS and gf never gave it up to him and ended up sleeping w/ another guy. He was single for another 3 yrs. I find it hard to believe. He made a move at me by kissing me and holding hands at end of date. When he asked if he should call or email, i said email is impersonal, yet he still said he will email. He has been emailing and calls only to confirm a date. He said he wants to get to know me, but y wouldn't he call? Is he BSing about his virginity? Will a guy go that far to say he is a virgin just to get laid? I'm relationship type and won't sleep with a guy til months later. He said if i don't believe him, i can ask his buddies. How can I tell if he is telling the truth- see if he sticks around after 3 or 4 months?

Hi look if it sounds too good to be true then it usually is,
I have serious doubts when a guy won't call and communicates by email I seriously doubt if he hasn't been laid and is using this lame excuse to cover up ,possibly still going with other girl.
Then just wanting to bed you as another conquest to add to his belt..my alarm bells are ringing ,do you have his phone number to call if not then stay clear.??
Asking his buddies ,what a joke they probably in on it .LOL ♥

Ask his friend while he is there too. If he said it was OK to do that then you have every right to do so. You could start calling him to confirm dates instead of having him contact you. I don't trust it either but if you like him and he is willing to hold out and wait for you then give it a try. You'll be able to tell if he really is a virgin when you sleep together anyway.

Trust me. Even though some guys are good looking, theve never been laid. and the only reason he would go that far to get laid is because he must be dating a beautiful woman. he is most likly still a vigin and if he wants to get anywhere in the relationship he wouldent lie.

I'd say he's most likely telling the truth. It doesn't seem that hard for me to believe. I know quite a few guys who are in their mid or late 20's and are still virgins.

He's the only sort of man worth going out with, really, that is, if it's his principle (which I'm not too sure of after reading further).
If he's attempting to lose his virginity with you, get rid of him and the rest doesn't matter.
He sounds like a sort of guy who's a loser at the race track (and considers this his problem), but doesn't understand that he shouldn't be going to the race track.

he sounds shy and could be telling the truth. Even his buddies wont know for sure they arent around him 24/7. The emailing could also be from the shyness or just inexperience.

If he's a virgin at 25 he's a freak...if he's a liar and would lie about being a virgin he's an even bigger freak....the email thing is freakish as well....I'd say get over him quick before it gets weirder.

It's quite possible. I planned on keeping mine until marriage but gave in at age 22(I'm not 25). I wish I would have waited. I lost it to a complete HO.

Only time will tell. If he hangs around without getting sex from you, then it's not BS to get laid. My fiance waited months to sleep with me and he's still here :)
