I just need a bit of guidance. So my good friend was madly in love with a girl they broke up and she started seeing someone else. He of course started seeing someone else too. And of course after about two months of dating his new girl he got her pregnant. So from the beginning he said he would take care of the kid but didn't want to be with her. He and the girl that he was in love with were trying to work things out (she stopped seeing the guy she was dating) and like a month ago she decided that she couldn't deal with him having a kid with another woman and dumped him. My friend was devastated because he thought things were going so well and was in heaven thinking he would be with his ex girlfriend( who he wanted to marry).Now here' s the issue. He got back with the child's mother last week and mentioned proposing to her. I usually mind my own business but I'm concerned about his motivation of proposing to her. I don't know if i should voice my concern or keep my mouth shut.

If he is your friend tell him what you think,what is it with you guys, we women sure don't have a problem with telling our girl friends how we feel toward their boyfriends If he gets mad he will get over it,just think you will get the chance to say i told you so when they brake up. I wonder if his ex knows about him proposing to her maybe you should tell her that might just wake her up and realize that she has a good chance of losing him forever.

Good friends tell each other what they think. You don't impose or criticize, but are entitled to your own opinion and to voice it. It's all about how you go about saying it. Ask him if he's sure about making the right decision; tell him you'll give him your support and respect his decision, but you just want him to honestly tell you why he decided to marry the pregnant girl; is it out of love or spite? If you two are really good friends, then I don't see why you wouldn't at least ask him -with caution and making no accusations- about his motivation to get married all of a sudden.

If you really care for this friend of yours, say something about it. At times it is best that we don't say anything but I think you should just this time, just let him know how you feel about it. I mean I don't know him and it seems that if he proposes it will be for all the wrong reasons. So go ahead and say something about it before its late......Good luck!!!

i would say something if this guy wasa close friend of yours but let him know that you just want him to be happy and to make sure that he really wants to go ahead with this and that it isnt a rebound thing.
if he over reacts to you saying domething and cuts you off, then thats his choice, all you can do is step back and let him do as he wants.

I would just support him in the decision that he is making in his own life. Just be there for him when he needs a friend....
