many a subject . . but he/or she pretend it is not so . . yet it manifests itself everytime you get in touch with one another, in some form or another, what would you do?
How would you treat this covert manouver from the covert grudge holder?
If you have no grudge for this person and have assured him so, what would you decide to do, in order not to fall for his actions of friendliness which are false, but done anyway to keep you a hostage to a very unfair and tiresome situation?
Thank you. Would appreciate any responses!

My husband lost his beloved sister this weekend, and we were discussing periods of mourning and what it entails, for example no social gatherings, not going to movies, etc...? I needed some help and want to know what is the acceptable time period, and what activities one should not engage for during this period? I know people mourn in different ways, some go on trips and some year black for a year or so. I guess it depends on the person, their culture, and religion. I feel guilty accepting a friend's dinner invite, but my husband seems not to have a problem if I do accept, or so he says. Any advice would be appreciated.

Long story short...a guy I was seeing told me he "just wanted to be friends for now" ...yet he still flirts and wants to see me this weekend. He's always complimenting me on my looks and is very honest about his attraction towards me. Here's the question..since we're not dating anymore, does he still want to hookup? Not that I would cuz I have more self esteem than that, but do you think he's gonna make a move when we hang out? I'm planning on looking extra hot.

I'm 26, been married for 9 years, we have kids together and I've been completely dependant on him. I stayed home and took care of my family. So, I have no way of supporting my children let alone myself. I can't go to anyone in my family since they don't have enough room for us. What do I do? I'm at my wits end. It's not just being unhappy; it's also putting up with abuse. I don't want to take my kids to a shelter but what other options do I have?

Son and GF and new baby live with hub&me, the gf's family is driving my fam crazy with their constant visits, her mom comes early in the morn'g and stays for hours leaves around lunch time and comes back with her hub and another grandchild and stay for another couple hours. Even if gf takes the baby to there home for 4-5 hours they show up here in the eve'g. The grandchild they bring with them takes over our tv and because our L/room is small to begin with her family sits and we are forced to sit in another room. My hub & i both work and when we get home in the eve'g we'd like to sit back and relax, watch a little tv and even enjoy the grandbaby,.My son told gf that this is getting ridiculous and that they need to cut back on the visiting so far it hasn't stopped them.. ANY ADVICE, I don't want gf to be upset with us. They are looking for a place of their own but who knows how long that could take and we don't mind them being here, this is our first GC, but her fam is driving us nuts

Look men, please help me understand you. Now I know not all guys are like this, but I know some who are and so please advise: What if you meet a woman you're really attracted to and you get friendly with her over a period of months and then you realise that she too is attracted to you! This is where your 'fear' seems to start. Then you 'get together' you know have a kiss. She's NOT coming on too strong. You really like her but you kind of act really casual even if she asks to meet you again, you can't give a direct answer. You keep contacting her by the way but sort of 'friendly' as opposed to heavy love affair. Are you in shock? Please explain this! Are you afraid of love?

Ok... all of the questions about relationships - the general answer is always: Leave him/her... have people gotten lazy? What about WORKING on a relationship? and maybe considering the OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY? generally people post questions when they are angry or depressed, they may be distorted or blown out of proportion due to the person's emotions at the time...

but all the time - the general gist is alway: Leave/get rid of the person... no wonder there is such a high divorce rate - it is the same as the obesity epidemic - Laziness...

My grandma is quite a mean person, and I don't know what to do. When I was born, she referred to me as a fat moose and made fun of my face. When I was three, she hung boots in the chimney on Christmas telling me Santa was stuck. She told me to go outside to play, and when I came back inside, there was a fire in the fireplace. I asked her if Santa got out, and she said no and laughed as I cried, thinking Santa was dead. She has always told me I was born for the sole purpose of being made fun of. She won't stop saying cruel things to me, and she tells me horrible stories during supper that make me feel sad. There's a lot more, but I am running out of room. My mom keeps forcing me to be around her, and then she makes me feel like a horrible person because I don't want to speak to my grandma. I want to explain to my mom about how I feel about my grandma, but she always makes me feel like I'm a horrible person. Does anyone know anything I could say or do?

I have been married for 7 years (together for 10) We both came from troubled pasts (abusive parents, rough childhoods) and have had some bad luck in our marriage as well with-job loss(2 full years), money trouble, health troubles etc. We have two children and like most people very busy lives. My question is that it seems we have lost each other...we don't get along like we used to, we fight, I feel bitter towards him and I am sure he feels the same towards me...neither of us really feels like the other respects the other. One day things are good and the next it's like we barely like each other. I love my husband and I want my family to be happy. Can you give me some marriage advice to try and bring the happiness back into our marriage? What do you do in your marriage to get over the rough spots? I feel lost and like I can't make it work. I want so much to be a great wife and mother. I want my house to be a safe haven for my family....any advice would be helpful. Thanks
