I have noticed that whenever people leave school, either high school or uni, their social life plummets. Friends become strangers as people who once would do anything for each other don't bother to contact each other, and finding new real friends is a difficult task. It's happened to most of my friends, and I've even noticed it's a popular question choice here. It seems upon entering the workforce it's pretty hard to make new friends, or the same type of friendships you had in the past.
How do you keep in contact with your old friends, if you do at all?
Do you care at all, or do you think it's a problem that you don't?
Why do you think this is? Just growing up and changing? The fact we work longer hours this decade? Or because you don't have school forcing you to mix, and you've never really had to work at friendships? Or simply you don't like your friends/they don't like you anymore?

I have been talking to this guy on the net for a while and we were getting really close and he was going to come and visit me. Lately he keep asking me for money, as I have never meet him in person, I said no and to stop asking me.
He say it only for a week and that he will give it back but I don't really want to give him my money when I need it to pay my bills.

I was just wondering because obviously you have already sent out invitations plus forked out for meals, drinks and cake/buffet etc for all your guests. To me it just seems an added expense and most people take one look at them and bin them!
Would you be offended if you didnt receive one?

Do you think they will fire him? The kid is not in his class.He lives down the street, I don't know why this kid is saying my man was ahving sex with him, my life has become a night mare. I am afraid he will go to jail and i will lose my home too. Why would a little boy make up something like this. My husband says he is jsut trying to get attention.

not put forth any effort into being a father?
Talking to him hasn't worked-I'm not leaving him-trust me here-there is NO COMMUNICATING with this man-I mean what do I do? Just live w/it?!?!

Ok, here's the detail, bare with me here. I met my girl friend in class, around 3 weeks ago. At first I was just playin along, and ended up asking her out. She've been numerous relationship before and let's just say one of those girls that dont just blurt "I love you" out of the blue, and after 3 weeks, she said to me "I love you" to me yesterday. I don't have that much of a feeling for her as she feels for me, so to say the least, I'm wanting to let go, yet if I do that, I'm affraid it would hurt her, and knowing myself, I can't allow myself to do that to people, let alone someone who loves me. I dont have a problem getting in a relationship, but my life as it is, I have much obligations to fulfill, my business, my schools, my dreams to fulfill, but it's just because this girl seem so attached to me and have a very deep intimate feeling for me, it somewhat scares me... So, what should I do? Does anyone know? should I just give it a try or pull out before any more damages is done?

My parents divorced when I was three and my mom remarried when I was 7. My real dad has been in and out of my life, as well as prison for the past 24 years. My stepdad raised my sister and I and always provided for us and gave us the best. He's been a dad to me more than my biological father has that's for sure. 6 years ago my real dad went back to prison and I have only visited 3 or 4 times. It's hard because we have a strained relationship even though we love each other very much. I am getting married 11/08/08 and my dad is getting released in May of 08' which means he will be free to come to my wedding. The problem is that I don't want to hurt anybody because of the walk down the aisle issue. My stepdad has always been there and it's his privledge and right. But I can't bear to see my real dad sitting there in the pew with hurt in his eyes because it would ruin my day. Do I have both walk me? Will my stepdad feel slighted because my real dad never supported me? Who has the right?

Things I did and he says it worked are, I tell him about how I mast*rbate, or once I did a this thing where I kneel down and move my hips like how a guy "pushes it" but I did it slowly and more girlyish. Ok so my mom just got to be okay with me and my boyfriend being together, my grandma who lives with my mom still doesnt like it,she kinda influences my mom in a way...( by the way...we live together and have been together 2 yrs and they didnt like him b/c he is black)...I just have no idea how to tell them that we are gonna have a baby...now my boyfriend had been wanting a baby, but i think that me being scared of how my family is going to react is making me scared of telling him. I also dont knw how his parents will react to this either...We are both 21 and we both have really good jobs so it is not a problem to provide for this child, so how do i get rid of this fear? I know this should be the happiest time of my life but instead im scared. any advice please....
