It all depends on the following provisions which are provided under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (as your name suggests you are Hindu by religion & hence the Hindu form of marriage between you & another Hindu will be governed by this Act). Section 5 Condition for a Hindu Marriage. - A marriage may be solemnized between any two Hindus, if the following conditions are fulfilled, namely:
(ii) at the time of the marriage, neither party,-

(a) is incapable of giving a valid consent of it in consequence of unsoundness of mind; or

(b) though capable of giving a valid consent has been suffering from mental disorder of such a kind or to such an extent as to be unfit for marriage and the procreation of children; or

(c) has been subject to recurrent attacks of insanity or epilepsy;

In case the brain problem you are suffering is covered under any of these as mentioned here then it won't be right for you to marry. To confirm these you require a proper medical checkup by an expert neurologist who can only confirm in details your condition with regards to any of these I have mentioned above. If the expert medical report support you case & the brain problem is not covering any of these above mentioned problems, you can marry legally & enjoy the fruit of the matrimonial life. Let me mention here that incase to marry any lady out side your religion you will have to do so under the provisions of the Special Marriage Act,1954 where similar provision with regard to mental condition exist in section 4 of this Act.

yes surely, there's nothing wrong in getting married even if you are having any kind of brain problem, but provided you should yourself be aware of the severity of your psychiatric/brain problem. And do tell your would be spouse well in advance, before getting into the relationship about your problem in order to have a smooth and supportive lifestyle.

What type of brain problem?
Ask your self, what are the problems that will come up?
Whether both are going to be benefitted?
And of course it should be decided with thought and caution, and as you can perceive there is not going to be a ready made solution and the total situation is only known to you.

Brain related disorders are very sensitive. I don't think it is possible to think of it first. But your brain thinks of marrying it is not wrong. Seems the problem affects you not.

If it is a love marriage then ok means your partner knows each and everything about you since she love you.

If not then i think it is not better to spoil someone's life due to your personal problem. Also if you are not mentally perfect then can't fulfil your reponsibilities because as a male partner your wife and then your children are your responsibility.

Ask your Doc. Go for counselling. Emotional answers , received so far, will only complicate future life.
As for brain problem, I guess every male has it. if I can live with an eccentric for 23 years, other girls will do. Do not get worried. But see a Doc.
