Both my parents are deceased, leaving only my stepmother who has not been on speaking terms with me for almost a year. I saw her at a family gathering and she is still the spiteful woman I always knew. She assumed my fiance has no job and bought my own ring, to the point she told my uncles this. I feel inviting her is asking for trouble, however not inviting her might prove another problem as I do not want to hurt anyone or be questioned as to where she is that day. Long story short, she has not wanted my father's children. She has not treated us well and we are at the point that we decided we do not need to be in contact with her. Honestly, my life's been better this way. Is it proper to invite her? I'd plan on not sitting her at the family table. She also does not respect my deceased mother - oh the drama she's caused if I only had more room to explain. Does she have to be invited in the sense of ettiquette? Please help.

I came home last night to find my companion masturbating to pornography! We have been together (exclusively) for 7 years now, and this is the FIRST time this has ever happened (that I know about).
What strikes a nerve the most is the fact that he denied it. I tend to believe him blindly, but as I was online I stumbled across some disturbing websites.
He denied it, leading me to believe he KNOWS he was doing something wrong and while doing it he KNEW I would be hurt/upset by finding out, since he lied, lied, and lied by trying to hide it.
We suffer from a healthy sex life from the beginning, you see I want to make love just about ALL the time, and he for some reason can conform himself with once a month. In fact asking him for sex, or trying to get him aroused is a task in itself (he'd rather sleep). It would be easier and faster to wait for rain in the middle of a drought.
My friends say "Cheating is doing something u suspect or know would make ur partner uncomfortable."
???

Believe me, i do put him 1st most of the time. I cooked, cleaned, kept myself up and attractive, did the majority of the work around the house, carried the family health insurance, etc..., and I did NOT with hold sex from him. I just didn't want it as often as he did. I have also tried all the things he has asked me to do as far as sexy clothes, etc... I was also molested by my own brother as a teenager, and I had a hysterectomy at 35, and I am on multiple meds for fibromyalgia, and thyroid problems. I don't think he takes any of this in to consideration. I just don't know anymore. My gut feeling, is that he just wants to get rid of me, and find someone new. Like he's outgrown me or something. So confused......

I know he might have several other FWB's but we are always protected. Last night he asked me if he was the only one f***ing me. I told him yes.... and asked why hes asking... He told me that he wanted to be the only one f***ing me...Why, if we are only FWB would he want to be the only one?? Shouldnt there be no strings attached?

She says that I toss and turn all night and keep her awake. She says she sleeps so much better without me there. I am a restless sleeper, but I don't want our relationship to suffer because we don't actually go to sleep together. Do I have anything to worry about.

How come you want a girl who pushes you away more than a girl who shows you she cares about you?

Left a year ago still comes around. I love him very much and he is a very good man in a lot of ways will some faults not bad ones. We had problems with communication and the way eachother reacted to certain situations. We both weren't that great to eachother at times. anyhow. I feel deep down he comes around and he has fun with the kids and I. But he says he is not coming back home. We are still married and I feel soo alone at times but not alot cus I am busy working going to school and raising four kids but alone in the couple factor. Once in a while we still well you know but I don't know I can't seem to move on. I love him sooo much. Why won't he come back and work it out and go to counseling why does he seem to be happy and have fun around us but not fully want to come home. There are nights he shuts his phone off and goes out with friends. I sit all night wondering if he will meet someone else. I know i should move on and focus on what I have goin on now. But how?I try

I'm 5'6 and apparently thats too short for most girls. Even short girls like 5'1, like 6'4 guys. That annoys me..when I see a REALLY short girl dating a REALLY tall guy. Its like haha..the girl even in these towering heels still is only up to the guys shoulder. Short girls like tall guys..tall girls like tall guys..medium height girls like tall guys..Does this mean me, and all short guys are screwed?

Some would think that the answer to this question is obvious. But to me it's not, cause if you meet this person in the flesh and they have misrepresented themselves, the other person is subject to running and screaming in the opposite direction. I know, cause it's happened to me before.

Whether it's a false picture on a profile, chat room photo space, MySpace, or someone sends you a picture of what they looked like 20 years ago, this practice is ridiculous and just wastes time.

I'm getting married and my dad wants me to hyphenate my name. It is my choice to only keep my future husband's name. Now my dad is saying that he won't contribute any money or even walk me down the aisle. Am I being unreasonable? Has anyone else ever faced this type of drama over name hyphenation?

I would consider it disrespectful (and a major hinderance to marital intimacy) for my spouse to go behind my back to solve a conflict that is between us with out my consent.
