i work at a Med Spa...my cousin also works there...at work we have been missing some very expensive products....it is my job to keep inventory. I felt suspicious of my cousin because she had done that kind of theing before...so today i went by her house and the items were there in her bathroom.... I feel torn because this is my cousin....and this is also the best job i've ever had , the owner is very good to all of us.

If you are in charge of inventory and you know what happened to the missing items it is your responsibility to tell the boss. Your cousin has put you in an awkward position by engaging in illegal activity. You are not in the wrong here. Do you want to keep your job or do you want them to suspect you of stealing?

It doesnt matter if it is your cousin who is doing this. You owe it to your employer to tell what you know. You are jeopardizing your own job if you do not. There are probably cameras there anyway. If you are afraid to , then at least tell anonymously. But believe me, this will not be the last time your cousin does this so if I were you I would steer clear of her

Return the items you found, and leave a note in their place to your cousin telling her that if she were to get caught stealing these by the owner, she would lose her job. And that if you catch her again, you are going to tattle, because you like your job and you aren't going to lose it by protecting her.

If you catch her again... give her the chance to confess to the owner of the business and apologize, and if she doesn't, then tattle.

CONFRONT her.
She is jeopardizing your job AND future, and her being a relative, it will look mighty suspicious that you may be involved and an accessory.

Explain this to her. If it goes no further, she needs to be stopped.
