He was a great guy. The only man I had ever dated, got serious with and wanted to have children with.Things have been extraordinarily difficult over the years but we made it through. In 1996 he broke his back, and again in 2001. He is in constant pain now and he is no longer sociable. He hates our kids, doesn't even converse with me unless it can be answered with a yes, no or I dunno. It's come down to 'I love you but I can't live with you anymore'. But how do you say it and not feel like a crumb?

My fiance's mother passed away last week from colin cancer, she didn't have a will & his step dad is telling him that he isn't intitled to ANY of his mother's esstate. My ? to all is... whats the low down on probate? We have a lawyer. But we want to know what are some things we need to know before all of this gets blown up in court. All we know about his mom is that she had...a car in her name, she owned half of the home, and half of her huspands truck. We know that she had Life Insuance, & a retirement plan. My fiance's step dad is also telling us that he is going to get rid of his mom's car. Is this legal? Can he do any of this without even putting anything into probate? Is there anyone out there that has been in this same situation that might have some advice? The reason I am asking about all of this is because my fiance' has already lost one parent (his father) 2 years ago... He was left out of everything because of his stupid step mom. Please Help!

I don't think i'm too old. Of course i don't like getting spanked, but i don't see how it's any worse than other forms of punishment, and whenever i get spanked i always behave well for a while afterwards! But anyway, i got spanked recently, and i mentioned it to my friend, and he freaked! He said i was way too old to get spanked, and how it's sexual abuse at my age. He told me to call the police on my parents, and he said that spanking is primitive and barbaric and that it's a terrible form of violence, and that my parents must be living in the dark ages if they still spank. He said that my parents ahve no right to discipline me, and i shouldn't have to listen to them. He's never been spanked (and as far as i know never disciplined at all!) but sometimes i think he could use it, he's always been spoiled rotten, he never listens to his parents, and he even smokes and drinks alcohol! I don't see why spanking is inappropriate at my age, but most people seem to. What do you think?

I am so mad and upset. I just found this out tonight and I feel is way to riduculous! AND rude of them to have it the same day as us. We mailed our save the dates months ago and they received one to. And now I hear that they chose to have their wedding on the same day as ours?! We really feel that it is on purpose for whatever reason because their wedding was suppose to be in December of 2008 and hmmm....for some reason moved it up a couple months to April. We just couldn't beleive that they would do this to us. We are family why would you pick to have your wedding the same day? And they knew our wedding date months ago. Please tell me what you all think of this? There is 365 days in a year and they happen to choose our wedding date. Shouldn't we be angry at them? Now we don't know whos coming to ours and who will go to theirs instead. Which really doesn't matter that much though I guess. I will be happy with having the people who care at our wedding that wants to be there.

I have been dating a German man long-distance for 2 yrs and we see each other very frequently, in Germany, the US, and we travel very often. He is now moving to the US to be with me and we have talked about marriage. Amazing man and the one I love.

However, he has a 5-yr-old child from an ex-girlfriend who got pregnant against his wishes. To him, this child is an accident. He pays child support and plays with his child but he says when we start our own family, we will be the real family he cares for.

This is incredibly difficult for me because I know it is not his mistake that he has this child, it's because of a crazy Ex...but I don't want the child to visit the US often (which he is OK with) and I don't want my future children to meet him. I wish that our children would be his only children. The child lives with the Ex and the father sees him every few weeks. Am I being wrong and selfish here? Or is it normal to react like this in this situation?

Hi all. So theres a guy.. lets call him "John". We have hung out before, and before i know it, he asks me out. we both knew we liked eachother. But the thing is, i cant have a bf right now. My parents are overprotective and i would never be able to see him. its the gods honest truth. he seemed really broken up. he told me he has "never felt this way before" and im "the only real thing" hes had. but i just cant be in a relationship right now. In the future we could, and i said that. so fast forward to the past few weeks. he now talks to me about the girls who like him, and how he is going to "ask out" a girl. so im thinking "UM WHAT?!"

If your child's mother/father was a good parent, but couldn't afford to financially provide anything in the way of child support...would you still let them see the child, or would you tell them that if they couldn't pay...they had to stay away?

I am 16 and my boyfriend is also 16. His parents are split up and hate each other with a passion so he is kind of nomadic. His dad will get mad if he stays at his moms and his mom would rather he stayed with her but they dont get along all the time. It is a bad situation and has caused him to stay with me occasionally. I dont mind it at all and nor do my parents because they understand the problem. Do you think i should let it continue knowing that it might eventually become a problem between my parents and I? or should i just leave it and let my parents be the adults?

The mother of a friend of my son has ordered a restraining order against my son, simply because she does not like my son, my son and her son are very good friends, there is no any sort of harassment , abuse or threat involved at all,
a detective showed the other day to give the order to my son, my son was at school at that time, the detective said he will come next day when my son is at home,

When I'm swimming at the waterslide park it's like out of nowhere I've gotta pee, like really badly. Like most waterslide parks the bathrooms are far away by the entrance and I feel I can't hold it that long, to walk all the way over.

scenario: my ex and i loved each other deeply. we had been friends for a long time and it just progressed. then she just decided to end our relationship for some reason that i didnt desrve to know. she fed me the i-still-want-2-be-friends crap and i bought it. she said that she didnt want to have anything to do with me, dont call, dont talk, just stay away. love didnt mean ****! she still loves me! we just cant be together b/c circumstances MIGHT make things difficult. or so she tells me. i havent spoken to her in nearly 2.5 years. as she requested. havent dated anyone since. her face always fills my mind w/ doubt and i **** it up. i'm over her, bu not the way it ended. she, according to a mutual friend, isnt over it at all. hasnt had a bf since. seen her several times since but never spke to her. she apparently doesnt understand why i'm "being cold and distant to her" i would like 2 talk 2 her 2 either close the past or try again but idk how she would react if i called. wht wld u do?
