I am 16 and my boyfriend is also 16. His parents are split up and hate each other with a passion so he is kind of nomadic. His dad will get mad if he stays at his moms and his mom would rather he stayed with her but they dont get along all the time. It is a bad situation and has caused him to stay with me occasionally. I dont mind it at all and nor do my parents because they understand the problem. Do you think i should let it continue knowing that it might eventually become a problem between my parents and I? or should i just leave it and let my parents be the adults?
Thanks again!

Let your parents worry about it. If they see trouble coming they will figure things out. If they say no its for a good reason.

I think it very kind that your parents are so understanding and caring. I would let you're parents be the adults, when they feel it is becoming a problem, they will handle it in an adult matter, talking with his parents, or whatever they think is best.
Every person needs a place they feel at peace at, a home setting, if you're family can give him that stability: when needed, I think it's fine. Yes at ya'lls ages, the couch is an excellent place for him to sleep! lol Best to You and Boyfriend!!!!!

I dont see anything wrong with it, for as long as your parents dont have a problem with it. They seem to understand this boyfriend of yours might be going though some difficult times and rather just avoid the whole thing.

I assume he's sleeping on the couch? It's best to keep this innocent. It sounds like he needs a place to crash sometimes. See if your parents can help think of ways to help his home life. They can't really take him in. But it's okay sometimes if your parents understand and you're not sneaking him into your room at night.

If your parents are ok with it then it should be a problem as long as you guys are not being disrespectful or inappropriate. Respect yourself and each other and everything will be fine. Remember you are doing it to help him and be happy that your parents are considerate enough of your feelings to help your boyfriend out in a time of need. You must be a good responsible kid for them to even considerate....don't disappoint them...keep it that way.

Wow, what nice parents!
Remember, communication is the key. You should talk with your parents about this and let them know that you do not want to have any problems with them over their willingness to let him stay. Then, as you stated, understand that they are the adults and let them do what they feel is best.

your parents know what they are doing, and they trust your judgement, so...leave it alone...for if your parents did not want the boy in their house, then they would say so....
