about 2 years ago i met this guy in oregon and we started to be bf and gf he was my first love/kiss and i found him again on myspace after i had moved. we started talking again and now im really confused. he says he want to get back together but when we discuss it he changes his mind. what should i do? get back together or say good bye and let everything nd on a good note forever

I've had a crush on this girl for 2 years. I had an opportunity to tell her but I didn't so we haven't talked in the last year. 3 days ago, I found her Myspace and left 2 casual friendly messages for her and she didn't respond (I'm positive that it was her myspace & it said that she read the messages). She's going to a different school this year, so this is my only way to contact her. She didn't respond so I figure that she isn't interested so I'm giving up. I'm trying to erase her from my memory but it still haunts me. I've had fantasies of marrying her (yeah, I know, it's my fault that I let her that deep into my heart). She's really pretty and I find it hard to get over her even though I just recently found out that she drinks when she goes to parties and has a lot of other close guy friends (which means that I wouldn't have much of a chance w/ her even if she mailed me back). I feel sad (but not depressed), frustrated, angry & just lousy in general. How do I get over her?

An ex girlfriend who I have a five year old child with is very scorned that I have a new girlfriend and filed a a restraining order on me claiming that I would slit her throat and kill her etc. A judge actually signed this. This was two years ago and I only found out through watching my son in her apartment with the papers on the floor. I kept it but I never checked in to this but I never went to court and I don't think she ever did. Can I still contest this restraining order or is there statue of limitations. I think this is slander and outrageous that a judge would sign without proof. Just for the record, I never laid a finger on her. What should I do, I want her to pay for every father that is going through the court system with little hope. Also she stated that it happened at 1:30 in the morning, how can I prove this is false, I was just at home which wouldn't be good enough. I didn't respond in good time with this issue or back support that I don't owe. What to do?

he is very aggresive and always quarls wiht me doubts me does not shear me any thing. he shows bureaucracy with me he beats me regularly with any reason, but I never say any thing and also do not beat him an for the social reason I do not shear with any body.I am educated and beautiful. I have been dating this guy for a few months. After school got out we still decided to stay together. During the summer we both went out of the country. Tonight he wanted sex. and i didnt.. so i told him ok 2 keep him happy. so after i packed his lunch for work tomorrow, i found my pillow on the couch. and put it back in the bed. and he throws it @ me saying rudely that i AM NOT sleeping in the be. he is bascially always angry towards me and rude. today i went out and got me hair cut because he likes short hair. when i got home he says "WOW it makes your face look really fat" me heart sank. and i brushed it off even though it hurt. we have been together 5yrs have a child. and me and my son have NO WHERE to go if i wanted to leave. and YES i have talked to him about the way he acts millions of times, and he still continues to due it. i am sad all the time but walk around with a smile on my face. I dont know where to start someone plz help. and i have no family on my side no parents ect........

My boyfriend and I love each other a lot. Not too long ago, I was going through a time where I doubted my love for him. I tried to convince myself that I loved him, and we were meant to be, but I couldn't do it anymore. I voiced my opinions to him about how I was feeling, and said that maybe we should take a break. He started to get really upset and cry. I couldn't stand to watch him do it, because I cared for him so much. It turns out all I really needed to do was talk about it with him, but I still feel awful that I hurt him. I wouldn't want to hear from him that he is unsure if he still loves me. I feel rotten and awful for what I did. I have apologized and tried to make it up to him, but I feel like I can't. Any suggestions for this?

My ex emailed me out of the blue after 7 years. After about a month of emailing back and forth he finally told me he is married. He also told me that he always wondered what could have been between us and that he still thought of me often after all these years. I stopped contact with him as I knew that it is not appropriate to keep in contact with him being that he is married. Now, after a few months he is instant messaging me again. He just asked me why he hasn't heard from me in awhile. Do you think he really just wants to be friends and that the odd email or IM is harmless or should I tell him to leave me alone? my mom moved to a very small town with me and my older brother. every 2 weeks i would get 250 dollars. she met this guy named Tim. and it all went down hill from there.

This Tim guy would call her Lesbian, *****, slut, whore, you name it he has said it. he is just a 100% asshole. so my mom started going to bars and drinking about once every 2 weeks, then it became once every week, and now its 2 to 3 times a week. when she comes home she yells and screams. my mom stopped working and so did Tim and got on disability. half assing the bills, not getting enough food for the month, plus the drinking taking like 200 to 300 dollars a month. losing the cable, gas shut off and it being cold in -20 degree weather. i gave my mom 75 dollars every 15th. and one day we were low on food very low! and i give my mom the 75 dollars and she goes out and blows it on drinking. i go and i yell at my mom because she spent our food money of beer. and now shes furious at me.do i have a right to be mad at her?

My ex boyfriend and me broke up around 7 in a half months ago and i have a big problem. I am now with an excellent man who ive been with for the past 7 months, but my ex is still in love with me bad. I get real upset knowing that hes hurting real bad. We had a very bad break up because i had to move away for 6 months, but we still seen each other every once in a while, our fights all started because i had to sneak to see him because my parents didnt like him. We were together over a year and he cries all the time because he misses me, but i do love my new boyfriend and i would never want to hurt him because he loves me alot also. How do i fix my problem? I do have depression problems from my 6 months away with no phone or tv or anything. my ex was a good boyfriend and i was his first, but we started fighting and having problems. What do i do to make him not hurt anymore without me havin to leave my man and hurt him. I dont want to try it again with him because im in a new relationship.

My partner and I are always fighting because my mother in law does not like me and he does not want to acknowledge that. He lives and dies for his mom and even though she has talked horrible things about me and she's always criticizing me , he things she's a saint and I'm the bad person. She is always telling people that my relationship with my partner is never going to last. My partner is also the jealous type, he did not want me to work because I was going to interact with men. I love him but he has a very bad temper and when he's mad he treats me like a dog. I have not been out with him for months, I'm 19 years old and my weekends are spend either on the job or watching T.V. His idea of going out is going to his parents house, where he spends most of the weekend with his mom. I feel rejected and even though I love him, I need to like someone cares about me. I have rejected guys who have asked me out but I'm tired of this. Can someone give me advice.

and i look beside me to watch a beautiful girl with her pretty face ,long hair ,gorgeous smile

i am not blaming anybody about what happened

A little about me: I'm a guy, well educated, with a dream job lined up after graduating from a top-tier business school, and was even recently voted by all the girls in my class as one of the "hottest" guys in school. But I'm finding it real hard to meet girls. It just seems like whoever I meet that is interesting is already taken or is not interested in me. And if they're interested in me, I'm not interested in them. I want a girl who is genuine, good looking, laid-back, chill and just a lot of fun to be around. But I just can't seem to meet anyone. I go to house parties and seldom see anyone attractive. I keep seeing so many guys who have gorgeous girlfriends, fiancees, wives... and can't help but wonder how they got these girls. I do get a little self conscious around very pretty girls (because I have a slight stutter in my speech). I find it hard to be interesting and "on" ALL the time during the date. I'm starting to feel inadequate and worried for the future. Any tips?

We haven't been together for that long....about 3 weeks or so. And he is my first boyfriend, ever. We've already kissed and made out, but that's about it. At least he didn't try unbuttoning my shirt, and his hands didn't wander into 'inappropriate' places, but I just want to be prepared just in case it came to that point where he wants to make love.
I am 21 years old and raised in a tight-knit Catholic family. I am also the eldest and only girl in the family. I made a promise to my mom and myself that I will not have sex until after I get married to the man I love. I just need sound advice as to how I can tell him. Should I just mention it out of the blue right away, or during a romantic evening, or what? I am lost.
Thank you in advance for you advice. And please, I don't want to hear anything about "test driving a car before buying it".

After 4 months of having a cyber relationship with a woman in the NE, we decided to meet in person. So, I'll be flying North to meet her. She agreed to meet about 3 hours from where she resides. I feel terrible about her having to drive but she says there is more to do in the city we'll meet at. She and I will be staying in the same hotel but different rooms. The question is: Will she be expecting me to pick up the hotel tab for her? What is the right thing to do? Should I offer to pay? Of course, I will incur the airfare, the meals, and transportation while we visit. I plant to visit with her for three days and three nights.
