This should be decided in a court of law. We on Yahoo! know nothing about your situation or what type of person that you are.

im not going to give you a long explanation but a quick solution . Go to department of social services and file a motion for visitation . This way you take her court and get her to agree to a certain or undetermined amount of visits . Now she can use to her advantage and put you through some serious sh..t ! If you are paying child support then i guess you will be ok . Now if your not then she can make your life a living hell . good luck i hope you get things ironed out cause in society today where men are slammed and talked down on for not taking care of there responsibilty and seeing there kids . Its never noted that at times its the women who causes some of these problems that are clearly over looked !!!!!!

unless there is a court order giving her sole custody, then your entitled to see him at least every other weekend for the entire weekend without her supervision, I say go to a lawyer, even if its her child support lawyer and have it put in writing that you get him every other weekend, 2 weeks in the summer and that you alternate holidays. I hate girls like that, I let my ex-husband spend as much time with him that he wants. As long as you take good care of him, and she has not reason not to trust you with him, then the judge will give you visitation!! Fight as hard as you have to no matter the cost, this is your son-despite the fact SHE is keeping him from you, that's most likely not what she is going to tell him when he starts asking why daddy don't spend more time with him!!!!!!

I'm no lawyer, but if the court hasn't set down visitation or custody rules, then you can see your baby every day. If she throws a fit, call the cops, and they will see what a freak she is, and give you the child. That's how I got custody of my daughter. I'm not sure of your circumstances, you best look pretty good like I did during the process. No drinking, smoking pot, doing drugs, no arrests, etc. You show you can provide better than her etc. The baby is only 5 months, so if she is so selfish now, she'll begin using the baby against you, and telling the child as it grows older what a jerk you are when he/she gets older. It may be a good thing, if you are a jerk, and just want the baby for 'trophie' purposes, like lots of guys, but if you are sincere in being the dad of this child, then you have a chance, just hang in there, and keep watch on your baby. Lots of attorneys would take your case for free, I think they call it 'in pro per' or something like that, if you are for real. Good luck. Ron

Go to court and have an order of visitation drawn up. Usually it is every other weekend (the child will stay with you) and one evening a week for a couple of hours.

it depends on the circumstances. if you are divorced, and it was because of something that was your fault, the court will tend to lean in her favor with custody. you will have to pay child support if you want to see him at all. talk to a lawyer about your options, and you might need to go to court for a custody battle with her, or at least set up visitation. good luck with it. i hope all works out.

If you are paying your child support you are entitled in "Most" states to what they call appendix J.

This says that you can have your child 1 day during the week and every other weekend.

The law varies from state to state and your circumstances may complicate things.

If you are not paying child support she doesn't have to let you see your child at all.

are you paying child support? have the courts set up a visitation schedule?

if not, these things need to be done... otherwise she can probably prohibit you from seeing the child as much as she wants.

take care.

It doesn't sound like you have a court order in all this...go to court and get one.

If you do, and she is altering it, than she is in contempt.

But if not, get to a lawyer, and get this organized now. It will get worse if you wait. Trust me, I know.

Good luck.
