I'm in Washington and with a girl who lives in... Pennsylvania. We're both willing to stick it out... even if we're both just 14. Seriously. I'm in honest to god love with her. Fine say I'm not mature enough but it's true! And I want this to work out... but could it?

If you were older than 14, then I'd say the long distance relationship is possible, but since you're both so young and both so far away from one another, it becomes increasingly difficult to remain true to someone you see every blue moon.

I'm in a long distance marriage and absolutely love it! It's like a honeymoon all over again every time we get together. I wouldn't trade this type of marriage for anything. There is an art to this type of relationship...

Have you actually met her? Because a lot of cyber romances involve people who lie and say they're younger than they are. So make sure you really know this person first.

Frankly, the problem is that you can spend so much time on the computer that you don't make any friends at school and you never develop any interests, you're just cybering all the time. So, put a time limit on it, say half an hour a day, and make sure you talk about other things that just each other. Also, you both HAVE to do all your homework first AND exercise for at least half an hour a day, before you go online or on the phone. Otherwise, you're just going to end up fat and stupid.

I had a long distance relationship for 3 years. It started when I was 18. We are getting married now after 6 years. So yes, they can work.

In all honesty, I think you're a little young to have to deal with a long distance relationship. You can always just keep in touch and be good friends and if you visit and grow up a little bit, you can get together!!! or you can just try the relationship...

long distance relationships can work out but the odds are against it.your both just 14 and think your in love?you don't even understand the meaning of love yet and have your whole life ahead of you so don't waste it on something thats a slim possiblity of working out.

Opinion on long distance relationships?

Don't.

At best it'll be a short-lived fling that'll leave you feeling empty at best and miserable at worst.

If you both really want it to work than you find a way to make it work.
