Part of me understands the rationale: "They're going to drink anyway so they might as well be safe at home, with supervision, and we'll have everyone's keys, etc." But at the same time, I don't think a parent should be condoning underage drinking, especially with teenage alcoholism being the problem that it is today. What do you think?

For me it is probably one of the many love sayings I've heard. It goes like this:
"Look away, becasue they hardest thing to do is watch someone you want, want someone else."
That saying couldn't be anymore true!

But he talks to his baby's momma (kid is 16) everyday. He thinks that it's okay for him to deal with his ex but he told me that if I went into (a legit) business with an ex that he would leave me. Does that sound like doubles standards to you? Should I let him leave?

I woke up this morning feeling very lonely and don't why I was even thinking about it. But for sometime I have really wanted a girlfriend and not just any girl but a girl who I could have a real relationship with. Later I sat in church and EVERYBODY seemed to be with somebody and I felt even more lonely? Am I feeling sorry for myself?

Our foreplay use to be alot of him kissing me and touching, but for the last year or so evertime we go o have sex he wants me to begin by sucking him. I like it sometimes, but sometimes I don't want to do it and he like expects it and i feel if i turn him down he'll be mad or rejected and won't want to cotinue to have sex. YES i've sharred this with him when we'r not in the middle of sex and he says he's sorry and i don't have to do it if i don't want to, but the next time we're intimate he's putting in my face again. And just to mention this...he refuses to perform oral on me! What do i do?

He is going to let me choose this time, which is rather fair under present circumstances. I have until Sunday to decide.

Thank you so much.

This guy I like showed all the signs of liking me. He would make up stupid excuses to talk to me, he'd get jealous when I was with other guys, he'd try to make me jealous, he'd try to get my attention, and he always stared/watched me. He looks at me differently then other girls. What I dont understand is why he denies all of this? Why he will date girls who are all over him,who he doesnt even like, but when it comes to me, he pulls away as soon as we come close..... Im not all over him, but i care about him and i dont understand. im going to see him in five days, so please, help!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1.. Throw out nonessential numbers.

This includes age, weight and height.

Let the doctors worry about them.

That is why you pay "them"

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning.

Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.

Never let the brain idle.

"An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen.

Endure, grieve, and move on.

The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves.

Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love,

whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.

Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:

If it is good, preserve it.

If it is unstable,improve it.

If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9 Don't take guilt trips.

Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county;

to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breathswe take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

I am having a wedding shower for friends (co-ed) at their favorite local pub and was wondering if it would be too tacky to have a cash bar? I of course would do everything else: food, cake, non-alcoholic drinks etc., but I really can't afford to pay the bar bill.

At our 8th grade orientation, myself and a friend noticed a girl in our class who had WAY too much eyeshadow on. So my friend said that she needed to use less eyeshadow or she'd look like a racoon. Later that night, she got very upset and is saying that we made fun of her in various ways. I think that what he said was not very bad, but she seemed to be very angry at us both. Was this insensitive?

Hi, I love my girlfriend to death. My personality is more of a care-free, live int he moment attitudes, but when i'm around her, I get all mushy and stuff. Always massaging her, always paying for dinner, always there to do whatever she wants. But she acts as though she isn't into me at all. Do you think if I acted more "macho" like my personality around my friends, that she would be into me more? Do girls REALLY like it when you don't treat them like princesses?

I am a 17/ year old male, with, i think a drinking problem. Everynight after work I feel like I "need" a beer. I will tell myself that I don't and I will budge and get on or three or five. If it isn't beer it is hard alcohol like vodka or rum. I drink until I get smashed. My dad keeps on asking where his alcohol is going and I have to lie and I feel horrible and guilty. I hate being sober because then I have to think about my problems. Am I an alcoholic?

i am 19 years old and i have been dating my boyfriend for about 8 months. He is the first person that I have felt comfortable having sex with. My mom knows that we have been having sex and has made me feel guilty about having sex. it has affected me to the point where i do not get as wet as i normally do. my boyfriend thinks that i am not aroused by him and takes it personally. i just need to stop stressing about this situation and i wish i could be back to normal.

My ex and I have been divorced for 7 years now..when we split up, I didn't want allimony nor do I want child support..I told my lawyers that when my son is with me, I take care of expenses and when he is with his dad, he pays for expenses..no big deal..The judge still awarded me child support but I don't make my ex give it to me..and in return, he's been absolutely greatful and has been paying for my son's school just because..all our assets we just split in half and I really didn't want to take advantage of him in any way..

People have said I was stupid and all that for not asking for more..Why is it that I'm weird for being civil and it's normal for women to take their husbands assets and want allimony too??

Do guys prefer tall girls or petite ones?

2007-08-10 16:45:09 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous in Singles & Dating

Yes, another one of these. I made a stupid, stupid decision and am really paying for it.
I can't live without my (now ex) girlfriend. She says she doesn't feel the same anymore and is moving interstate.

I haven't been this sad in my life, the nights I do sleep, I cry myself to slumber.
She helped me out of a terrible stage in my life, everything I do, and everything I have reminds me of her. I really cannot live without her, what the hell do I do? :(
