I wasn't sure if he really was serious about me until one evening he came into the bar where I was, spotted me talking to a friend of his (who had unknown to me indicated an interest in me). He marched up to us---- said, " you are mine.", picked me up and slung me over his shoulder and marched out of the bar. That was 30 years ago and we are still together. That was the most memorable. As for romantic, I'd say when ever he says, " I love you."

As most people think of either Jerry Maguire or one of the classics, which I love classic movies, I chose some more recent ones. Alex Whitman: You are everything I never knew I always wanted. "Fools Rush In" (1997)-Starring Matthew Perry & Salma Hayek Beverly Clark: We need a witness to our lives. There's a billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness'." "Shall We Dance?"-(2004)---Starring Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Jennifer Lopez. George Bailey: What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary. Mary: I'll take it. Then what? George Bailey: Well, then you can swallow it, and it'll all dissolve, see... and the moonbeams would shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair... am I talking too much? "It's A Wonderful Life" (1946)-Starring Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed. Helen: Orlando, what's going-- Orlando: I know you don't believe in fairy tales. But, if you did, I'd want to be your knight in shining armor. You've been through so much. I don't want to see you hurt anymore. Now I may not be able to give you all that your used to. But I do know I can love you past your pain. I don't want you to worry about anything. You just wake up in the morning, that's all you have to do and I'll take it from there. There's one condition. You have to be my wife. "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" (2005)---Starring Tyler Perry, Kimberly Elise & Shemar Moore.

He was going on spring break without me and i was worried what would happen and how it would affect the relationship ( we know what goes on there) and he hold my face and looked me in the eyes and said " Baby i wont do anything to affect our relationship. We have a great thing going and i care about you more than you can even imagine so please dont worry th relationship means more to me than just a one night stand". Surprisingly he calls regularly and he came back earlier than expected saying it was not the same without me.

Words don't work for me...actions do. When my hubby poured me a bubble bath, a glass of wine and had a cutting board with cheese and crackers by my tub. There were candles everywhere. Now THIS was an effort!!!

We were in bed cuddling up after, you know what, she leaned over and kissed me, then I pulled her on top of me and we just laying there kissing. She looked into my eyes and said in a low sweet voice with that thick Japanese accent, "David, will you take me to Paris one day?" I said "I would love to take you to Paris". Them we kissed some more. It was so sweet the look on her face, the softness of her skin. It was a brief moment in heaven on earth for me. I miss her so much!! :(
