I'm not sure what circumstances you're talking about presently...but there should be No Punishment....What is your husband punishing you for? You say you have till Sunday to decide...what happens if you havn't picked yourself a punishment?? Get some help girl and leave this man if this is the life you're living. May the Angels Always Be With You*~

You must have been living with abuse a long time if you think it is fair that he will let you choose your punishment. He has no right to punish you. Regardless of what you did, if he lays a hand on you he can be arrested.
Please think about changing your living arrangements...you need a happier place to live where punishment is not a common thing...but love, caring, understanding and compassion are the norm. I wish you all the best and NO PUNISHMENT Sunday or ever again

Hi Sweetheart,
I saw your question and have never answered any question on the internet but I felt compelled to answer yours.
I don't know how old you are and it doesn't matter, but I am 39 and have been around the block a few times. Please listen to my advice as if I was your girlfriend....and take it as you will...but.....You are not a child to choose her punishment....you are a woman with a husband who is EQUAL to you as a human being...he does not have the right to let you "choose" your own punishment....or judge you...you know if you did something truly wrong, you and you alone should choose the way you want to learn, grow or change from a bad judgment call. Dont, ever let anyone give you your choices for punishment. If he loves you the way a man SHOULD love a woman then you will say you are sorry...mean it...and move on from there.
Good Luck and Be STRONG!

The least demeaning way, so far, that I have been punished is, dressing up like Princess Leia (sp?) in Return of the Jedi, chained to him, while serving him and his friends.

are we talking about "fun punishment" or actual the real thing? if its the real thing, dont let him do anything, no woman deserves to be punished. i dont care what u did to "deserve" it. that isnt right. fun punishment can be in many different ways u can experiment with that. but i think u need to take aserious look at ur marriage and find out why ur still with him if he's indeed punishing u. good luck and I hope you find what u need, even if it means getting out of the marriage.

Punish you? Sounds like you're being abused! Get out of this relationship. Seek outside intervention. You and your husband are adults whom should have a healthy relationship and discuss issues that affect both of you or one and a loving and respectful manner. Leave him and don't look back. I'm sure there's someone who will appreciate and cherish for who you are.

Oh wow!!! It really sounds like you have some issues! Punish?????? Least demeaning???????? It does NOT sound like you are in a healthy relationship! There are people who can help you.......counselors, women's shelters, church, etc. Decide before Sunday to get some help for yourself!!!

toots, punish? least demeaning? what? you apparently took one too many blows to the head-if you f- up, fess up, apoligize and the big man that he is should get past it,(in the bible its called forgiveness!) not let you pick your punishment-this would qualify as a seriously backwards white trash moment!

Sounds like you go to some church that preaches that the
man is always right...and if
you disobey him you need to
be punished so you don't do
it again.
If that's the case, it's sick.

Uncontested divorce. Your punishment is to distance yourself from this good, kind individual. As soon as possible!
