I eat at Hooters a lot and I want to ask one of the waitresses out on a date. I wanted to know how many guys have sucessfull asked a Hooters waitress out on a date and she said yes. I ask this question, because I heard not a lot of Hooter's waitresses will date they're customers.

Ah, prepare for a lot of heartbreak, young man.

Next to strippers, Hooters waitresses are some of the MOST DIFFICULT women to date. All the cute, sane ones have boyfriends. The cute, insane ones also have boyfriends. If they aren't cute, and happen to be totally insane, then you MIGHT have a chance at something happening soon. If you want a cute sane one, try to befriend most of the girls in there, and be prepared to wait a long time (until she is between boyfriends). Then ask her out.

In an establishment like Hooters, the waitresses get hit on AT LEAST 2-3 times an hour, for an 6 hour shift... multiply that times 3-4 shifts per week... then times 40-50 weeks in the year... and you're looking at a girl who gets propositioned for sex 2,000 to 4,000 times a year. And that's for a less attractive waitress, and only during her time at work!

Women who need that much validation are completely insecure (NOTE: Yes, I say this about women often, but in this case, it is absolutely **guaranteed** to be true). What is worse, they are used to guys kissing their butts based purely on their looks. So, most of them have severely underdeveloped personalities-- becoming an interesting person takes work, which they usually decide not to do. To top it all off, you will be competing with LOTS of other guys, some of whom will be richer, more famous, or better looking than you are.

In summary, you will eventually reach the same conclustion that I did: for the time, money and effort you invest, there are MUCH better girls available. At least with other girls, you can be fairly confident that they are not teasing you with sex so you will buy merchandise from them, with little or no chance of a relationship or sex in the long term.

Also, take a moment to think about the end-game here. Suppose you ask her out, and she says "Yes." You ask her to be your girlfriend, and she again says "Yes." The next question is: do you want your new girlfriend to *continue* working at Hooters, where other guys will be drooling over her, and hitting on her constantly? If you want her to quit her job, then you should be prepared to replace the income from her job with something else. So, unless you are wealthy, think about this one carefully.

All I can say is: keep these facts in mind, and choose wisely.

Ok, so you are lumping this woman into a category called 'Hooter's Girls'. Is that much different from lumping her in with blonds (if she's blond) or brunettes (if she's brunette)?

Since you have already stereotyped her into being a 'Hooter's Girl', and already know that 'Hooter's Girls' rarely date their customers, why bother asking if you already know the answer?

I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but it seems like you are overlooking her individuality, with her own likes, dislikes, personality quirks and everything else that comes with being a unique human being. Yeah, she's working at Hooter's, but that certainly doesn't mean that she's like all the other Hooter's girls or that all those girls are just like her.

Really, the only way you will know is if you ask her, and the worst she can do is say no (and it might not have a thing to do with you, who knows, maybe she's gay...huh, wonder how may gay Hooter's Girls are out there...)

A surprising number of waitresses have boyfriends at hooter's. I've never personally asked one out but I have talked to many of them without it being the "haha yea i'm talking to you to get a good tip" conversation. You need to be playful and funny to make sure they are actually enjoying your company and not just going for the tip. Make sure you tease her a little bit. At the end of the night take the piece of paper that she writes her name down on and say "hey you forgot your phone number on here." If you've done good she'll immediately write it. If you've done ok she'll probably give you a smile and say "And what are you going to do with that." Give her an exasperated look and say "what do you think." This should do it. (This should work well for any waitress.
