At our 8th grade orientation, myself and a friend noticed a girl in our class who had WAY too much eyeshadow on. So my friend said that she needed to use less eyeshadow or she'd look like a racoon. Later that night, she got very upset and is saying that we made fun of her in various ways. I think that what he said was not very bad, but she seemed to be very angry at us both. Was this insensitive?

Umm...actually that girl is a bit overeacted. You guys are nice enough to point it out to her. However, try not to say she looked like racoon...some girls are a bit sensitive.

The way he said it sounds a little insensitive. It sounds like he could have said it in a nicer way. I think that she probably felt made fun of and she was probably embarrassed.

Really it wasn't your business. I know you thought you were helping, but if someone you didn't know walked up said they hated your shirt, how would you feel?
