You could be or it could be an escape for you. You said you hate being sober because you have to think about problems.
Either way, as young as you are, if you are questioning if you have a drinking problem, you need to talk to a professional, and find out. Not judging, but I noticed you said you're drinking dads beer, alcoholism runs in families. I know!

If you're not one already you're on your way there. Please go to an AA meeting before this gets completely out of hand and alcohol becomes everything to you. If you feel you're at the point where you can't think about anything BUT alcohol, when you can get to some, how to get some, etc...you have a serious problem.
Don't let it get any worse than you're making it sound. You sound as if you need to talk to a counsler or psychiatrist about your problems that you don't want to deal with while sober. Please don't let this affect your family and your personal goals and health.
Get help now.

You could be on your way to being one. If not one already.
I strongly suggest you talk to a doctor about this.
Get it sorted before it becomes too late..
Being an alcoholic will ruin your life as well as the others around you.
Alcohol is not a good way of dealing with your problems. Because guess what - they're still there when you sober up.
You need to work on the problems in your life. Change them. Rather than just getting drunk and digging your head in the sand.
Please go and talk to someone.

Yes Sir! You qualify. Call AA immediately and get your butt to meetings and get a sponsor right away. Tell whoever you speak to at AA what you just told us. Be real and it's doable!! Good luck. Oh! The problems you are covering up?? You're not. Notice how they're still there when you get sober? Get into counseling and DEAL with those problems, it will make life so much easier for you. The big thing here is...YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Go for it!

Yes, I consider you an alcoholic especially when you have to lie to your Father about where the alcohol is going. I advice you to go to an AAA meeting and start to face those problems they can't kill you all they will do is make you stronger and build your character. Also, find you a good church to go to that will minister to your needs.

I think your okay man, but you can never be too careful just stop right now or atleast slowdown, only drink with your close friends if you have to. Try just drinking a little bit to mellow you out instead of getting completely hammered. Although im 17 and only drink on occassion my bro is 19 and my parents fear that he is and alcoholic, although he might be on the verge I know that he isnt. just take it easy

I'd say you're on your way there. Bad idea. So you don;t want to think about your problems?? Who does!?! Find something else, like...a really intence video game, a very interesting and long book, something hobbie-like. Doing this instead of drinking will get your mind off things and i much healthier for you. Good Luck!

hello,,man IF ALCOHOL MAKES ANY PART OF YOU LIFE UNMANAGEABLE YOU HAVE A DRINKING PROBLEM, I had to quit 21 years ago , alcohol poisoning screwed my liver up, gave me 6 months to live and my son was newborn, ruined my marriage and lost ALL of my partying friends because of this, but I have never drank a drop since 7-14-86, I'm 48 yrs old and sometimes that old stinking thinking comes around (not very often) and i wonder if i really would have died , HECK YEAH I WANTED TO GET REALLY HIGH.

Yes, sorry to say but you have a problem. You should not drink to get rid of your problems because they only get worse, you have to address your problems. You are very young and should address the problem now. The first step is admitting you have a problem which you have. Good luck, stay strong!
