I am a 28 year old male and I just love living with my family. They won't be around forever, so I plan on living here for as long as I can. What's better than no rent or expenses and having dinner ready for you when you get home from work in the evening. My car is paid for along with my insurance, only a fool would say no if this was offered. My grandfather always used to say, "Never say no to money." The thing I don't understand is the jealousy and nasty comments I have to confront on a daily basis. I am a hard working, responsible and independent adult (LOL, except financially) and people can't seem to understand that it's an accomplishment in my opinion to be 28 years old and still get along with everyone in the household. I earned the right to still live here. The same goes for my adult siblings (26 and 24). Does anyone else endure similar opposition to their living arrangements? And what is it with ladies who think it is unattractive to love ones family?

the children are old enough to understand why it is happening or when they are very young? Would it be harder to deal with if it happened when you grown up (18 +)? At what age is it the easiest to deal/cope with?

So would you (persay) stay in an unhappy marriage until your children where older, or would you divorce when they were babies?

I'm sorry I should of added, I'm not asking a personal question, I have no kids, but my parents divorced when I was 19 and it has hard b/c I was stuck in the middle of it. I just was wondering from others what they thought

I am in love and I am scared! After being hurt sooo many times, I have found who I think is "the one." Doubts and fear take over sometimes and the past comes back at me. He has never done anything to make me not trust him but I still get scared ...any advice?

I have to get this off my chest. I'm 23 and free to choose who I will date. This man is wonderful to me, and treats me like a queen. He understands me, I understand him, and we are very comfortable with each other. His children are four and six years old with no mother in their life, and I'm just as comfortable being with them as I am with their father. I hate being stereotyped where people assume I am looking for a father figure because somehow I'm emotionally weak??? OMG! That is not the case. I'm not stupid. I'm talking about a REAL reason why a friend would stay angry with me, because so far I don't see any REAL REASON why they would, or should stay angry and isolate themselves from me??? That's manipulation to me.

I couldn't care less what people think about who I prefer to date. I can understand why my friends they think he's too old for me for many reasons, but that is NO REASON to stay angry with me. What is that proving? That they're really not my friends at all!

I'm going back to school soon because September is coming fast. My only problem is this.

I've changed and grown into who I am as a person this summer. I'm much more mature, easy-going, happy, confident, emotionally and mentally strong, and just all out more enjoying life.

What I mean is this, basically. I don't know how anyone will take it when I get back to school. They're used to the hyper, uncontrollable, shy me. This is going to be totally different. As I said I was not very socialible before but now I've just gotten so much more confident.

I'm ambitious and my dreams are almost my reality. Everyone used to know me. But I want them to know the real me. I'm just scared, though, because when I changed during the summer one of my online friends and I had a huge fight. In the end they told me they were so used to the old me they didn't know how to react to the new me.

I don't want this to happen again!! Any advice on how to deal with this or to help others deal with it?

My girl broke up with me a week ago, because I was depressing. I tried to tell her it wasn't a good idea at first, but then I went along with her wishes. We hung out Friday. I never say I like the guy, never am the one to call, never clingy. I just talk. TALK! to him and I'm really nice. Is that my problem? Whether you love her more than your mother.

My usual answer would be ' there is a difference in love for a mother and love for a wife. both are different and there can never be a shortage of love for any of them. however my duty definitely comes first towards her i.e.my wife'

And yes am not a mama's boy. My wife has always seemed immature and insecure to me. (two reasons probably, she is an adopted child of her parents and had a failed past relationship)

I want to join the high school cheer team but there are a few problems.
-my mom is worried I'll get hurt
-none of my friends are on the team (and I know these stuck up girls are going to b on it)
-It costs a litle less then 3 grand and I don't know if my parents will agree to pay for it.
