I want to join the high school cheer team but there are a few problems.
-my mom is worried I'll get hurt
-none of my friends are on the team (and I know these stuck up girls are going to b on it)
-It costs a litle less then 3 grand and I don't know if my parents will agree to pay for it.
I'm going to be a freshman so I kind of have to think about these things now. I know a friend who had to pay for his football team fees by himself and I was thinking I could do that.
help?

Money is probably the biggest issue.

well if your mom is worried about u getting hurt you can just b base and for your friends you can ask some of them to tryou with you.. and then the money prob. you cna try to raise money to help pay for the cheer.. i hope i helped

First of all ask your parents if they can and will pay the money if you make the cheer squad. That will answer the money issue. I can't believe it is this much now. Of course it has been a long, long time since I was a cheerleader. As far as the stuck up girls; they may not be all that stuck up once you get to know them. It will be OK to be friends with them and your other friends too. As far as you getting hurt, you will be trained and taught safety procedures.
