I never say I like the guy, never am the one to call, never clingy. I just talk. TALK! to him and I'm really nice. Is that my problem? They're about to get down on one knee after a few meetings/conversations. Is it because they are sometimes in their early 30s? Maybe trying to settle down? I need help with this because I can't simply date without feeling trapped. HELP!

I think it's safe to date/talk to them because they all act like they aren't ready to settle down either, but then they get all relationship-ish on me saying I'm the best thing to come their way. : ( Help everyone. I'm not trying to get hitched yet! I just got out of a 3 year relationship.

well for one to be honest you look like a very attractive girl and when i guy is with a very attractive girl and if he don't think that he can do better then yes he will get very clingy and will want to settle down with you. That's just how most guys are really its all about how you make us feel that's it.

Honestly, I think your question sounds kind of narcissistic. I highly doubt that every guy you talk to immediately wants to propose marriage to you.

Try to analyze how you talk to guys. Maybe your body language and things you say are telling them that you're more interested than you actually are. Make it clear from the beginning that you want to take things slowly. If you play hard to get, e.g. ignoring phone calls, etc. it will only make them more interested.

I don't think it's you, i think it's the guy. Sometime we just meet a girl that just amazes us, some show with denial, regression, and some see its as a once in a lifetime chance. The guy probably act on male instinct and think about his nuts first but i doubts it's you.

perhaps you're a friendly person, so they mistake your intentions. maybe try slowing things down--not answering everytime they call.
