Have you ever realized that by asking somebody out on a date, you're essentially just telling them that you want to have sex with them? The sex might not happen if you don't end up liking eachother, but that is the point of the whole process. Especially if you don't know the girl/guy well. In that case it's even truer. "I don't really know if I like you, but you definitely look good enough to have sex with."

I don't know, my friends and I really get a kick out of thinking about that.

My male friend who is my ex boyfriend and i have agreed to have sex (we were together in high school for about a month). we've been together physically several times since but nothings ever eventuated.
So we agreed to have sex (we're both virgins), but he seems to be putting it off. We decided this about a month ago, and he "never has time" or he's always just oh so busy, but he has time to go out with his uni mates every friday and saturday night. He has time to go out with a group of 'awesome' girls from university because they're so so 'awesome' and he doesnt miss the chance to make sure that i overhear that fact, but he has no time to have sex :S He says he'll call to let me know when he's free. But he doesn't call. I dont want anything more than just sex from him and he knows that, so why is he messing with me. Come on, its SEX and he's a guy. what's going on here?!
ps:this guy doesnt have feelings for me, he's had so much time and chances to ask me out but never has

She has packed boxes, and also separated stuff secretly. She has to do it while he is at work. Any advice you might give her for her nerves or whatever?

To give a more detailed outlook of this rather disturbing situation it was my then 5 year old daughter who told me mommy had a friend. I read through my then wife's journal and saw she was cheating with an ex bf. We were married almost 4 years and together almost 7. My youngest daughter was 2 at the time. Now 2+ years later she still lives with the "man." He is no man in my book for doing this. My daughters went from living with me one day to living with him the next. There was no transition. My girls tell him they love him, but they don't understand what happened. I feel that my ex has corrupted their minds. I do not approve of cheating in any fashion. How do I tell them about this? When should I? They are now 7 and 5. I don't want them to feel as if this is appropriate behavior.

I'm a virgin and I'm proud of that but I'm normal like every other human and I get sexualy excited - but when I do and I act on that overwhelming sensation (like almost going all the way with my boyfriend and seeing things for the first time. him touching me in certain places sorry for TMI seeing body parts that are ment to be hidden) I feel very bad about myself and feel like my day is ruined because I did something that a good christain girl wouldn't do and also like I can't look at my family. (I'm almost 20 and I'm going to college in August)

I had two best friends growing up. We'll call one Ann and the other Tammy. Ann and I were really close as teenagers. Tammy and I grew closer after Ann went away to college. But we were all close. We sat together in church every week, went out to eat together, threw slumber parties, and shared every secret.

But as time went on and we all left for college, we made new friends. I went to a University I knew no one at, and Ann and Tammy went to the same college. They were roomies for a couple of semesters, even though Ann thought Tammy was annoying and constantly called me to complain.

The thing is, now Tammy is getting married. I was just married a couple of months ago, and had my two sisters as the bridesmaids. She is having her sisters as her bridesmaids... but also Ann.

Should I feel hurt that she's having Ann in her wedding and not me?

This question is for everyone but i especially like to hear from the guys.
Do you boys fart around girls you like or have a crush on?

I have been friends with this boy for 4 years. He does not know it but i'm really in love with him. He's great but he has gotten so comfortable around me that he farts even when i'm there beside him. He just laughs whenever i try to tell him how rude he is. But i'm really kinda dejected cuz that would mean that he does not like me in any special way. I mean, don't you boys like to impress the girls you like?

Also, how long into a relationship does a boy feel comfortable farting ( or belching, picking nose etc) around his girlfriend?
Strange questions, I know, but i'm really curious. (FYI, i never had a boyfriend). THanks.

Everyone fights in a relationship and it is normal that things will be said that are very hurtful. Or is it not?
How much do you tolerate before saying "this guy or girl is a jerk?"

i asked this on the knot about asking my guy to marry him and that i want to use my mothers engagement ring. everyone was mean to me when they answered! saying that being engaged was just a status, having my mothers ring was just to show to the rest of the world i was engaged, that i must be immature because i wanted to ask him(i am 35 and he is 34), and that we need to learn how to communicate. well to let you guys know, we have talked about getting married and the only reason he is waiting is to be able to afford a ring. so what i did end up doing is telling him about my moms and he is going to use it to propose to me..when, i have no clue, but at least that is all settled! but can you believe how mean those women were?

I'm 23 and still a virgin. I refrained from sex because i believe/d that i'll meet my "dream woman" and lose it to her (also being a virgin), basically, to one i would one day marry. But its all looking bleek at the moment and i have doubts that i'll never ever get to find that one person. (as people keep saying "you'll find her, just wait"). Well i just think thats craap now.

Its not that i haven't had any opportunities to lose my virginity, i've had plenty, but turned it down everytime (be with random people, or friends). But i'm getting to know this one person well, and she's a nice person, but i dont see any future with her (as we're both from different castes etc, basically, it'll never work in the long run). Should i take the opportunity now? i really want to but my mind always stops me. i dont want to be in the situation where i'm 32 or so and i cant even "get with" anyone anymore because of my age, and still have my viginity.

mature posts only. no stupidity please.

my mate [who is in a relationship] now & again goes with a prostitute [different one each time], but doesnt view this as being unfaithful
as far as he is concerned it is a pure business transaction with no emotions involved; he does however state that it must be a different girl each time or then it starts becoming unfaithful !

I completely disagree with him, and believe he is being unfaithful [and i am sure his girlfriend would as well !]

dont want to know your views on prostitutes/std's/ etc; just
is he being unfaithful ?
[and will the views differ between guys & girls ?]

We lived together after high school but her manipulative mother eventually broke us up. We have found that even after 23 years we were and we still are deeply in love. Both of us have good spouses but we cannot stay away from each other. The only solution seems to be for us to move to another state and spend the rest of our lives making each other happy. Comments appreciated.

Not long ago I asked what a guy met when he told me he'd father my son, he ended up telling me he loved me for a year and we're dating..

Thing is, how do you know if someone is your soul mate?
When I first saw him again after a few months of not seeing him, my heart sunk and I knew I wanted to be with him, I guess I could say I loved him. But now that we're together, I find myself wanting to push away, for any reason. But This time, I can't. It's odd

My son's dad, abused me for 4 years, I've broken away and it's taking me, 2 years to heal,

Also is my feelings telling me that he isn't right for me?
Or could he be and it scares me cause of what happened to me?

I love him, and he's great to me and Caleb, better then anything I've had, but still.. It's hard..
