How Do You Know Your Soul Mates?

Not long ago I asked what a guy met when he told me he'd father my son, he ended up telling me he loved me for a year and we're dating..

Thing is, how do you know if someone is your soul mate?
When I first saw him again after a few months of not seeing him, my heart sunk and I knew I wanted to be with him, I guess I could say I loved him. But now that we're together, I find myself wanting to push away, for any reason. But This time, I can't. It's odd

My son's dad, abused me for 4 years, I've broken away and it's taking me, 2 years to heal,

Also is my feelings telling me that he isn't right for me?
Or could he be and it scares me cause of what happened to me?

I love him, and he's great to me and Caleb, better then anything I've had, but still.. It's hard..

Just so you know the human heart heals fast, but the scars are what makes it so uncomfrontable, you know being able to trust OURSELVES again. Also it takes 7 years to change a person mentality, so you better be concerned about the fact that a person who has been thru what you've been thru are Notorious Self-haters. And your going to be really good about doing that again. Which your doing here. See the whole soul mate thing is something you can put on a relationship after the fact not say its something you've thought you've found. So if you have to ask, NO. Also your a woman who is in a bit of a..... how do I put this... there well be a sort of black hole were a father should be in your life. Which basically means a lot of forces in you and out of you (That wonderful KIDDO!) that are going to make it hard for you not to find someone. But hard as heck to find the right person, so becareful! I can't put opioions on relationships so I can't say weather trying this guy out is going to be good or not, its going to come down to you hunnie like it always has. Maybe this time realize you can leave at any point.... and for the kiddo you better respect that choice.....
