my mother has just been home a week from a month stay in the hospital for a heart attack. She is also diabetic, kidney failure and lung disease. She is unalbe to have any surgery due to her condition. So, basilcally she is home to wait and see what happens next. In the meantime she cannot walk and needs help with cooking, laundry and taking a shower and help with going potty in her commode. My father forgets to sometimes give her her insulin and meds get mixed up if me and my daughter do not check daily. My father is to old and forgetful to take care of her on a fulltime basis. My question is my daughter is six months pregnet and not working and I work fulltime and my vacation and sick leave is used up due to taking it off when she was in the hospital. I cannot afford to take off any more work but I heard the state can help with wages and I just wondered if I could split the care of my mother with my daughter and get some help? Does anyone know how to go about it for us?

If you had a 12 year old daughter/step daughter, and she insisted that she did not want to live with you but instead with her mom, would you let her? Her mother is a suspected crack addict (she had a baby a few years ago that had crack in his system). She gets a new job every week but has never paid a dime in support. She lives with "friends" because she can't afford her own place. Knowing all that, would you still let your daughter live with her? She is miserable with us, hates us etc...but thinks the world of her mom. We are very strict with her because we don't want her to turn out like her mother. But in the end, I am tired of insisting that she stay with us when she clearly dispises us and wishes to be with mom more than anything in the world.

Any suggestions on what should could do? She has been an ebayer' for the past 10 years, but the market is very slow. My parents really do not need the money, but mom is bored and is looking for something to do. Any thoughtful suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Wife moved out of town, Texas to California, has been out 9 months, but will not sign divorce papers, wants to keep medical insurance benefits-reason for holding off, but won't communicate, any idea if 'D' by publication is legal in Texas?

In most states you have the option to file a "divorce by publication." Here is the basic steps.

1. Go to your local newspaper and put a divorce notice ad in the classified section. 2. Mail the divorce notice to the last known address of your spouse. 3. Wait 30 days and get a letter from the newspaper stating that the ad was posted for 30 days. 4. If your spouse no longer lives at the last known address the divorce notice will come back undeliverable. 5. Take your noncontested divorce papers with the letter from the newspaper and the undelivered notice and go to your local courthouse and file a "divorce by publication."

There are more steps and more forms to this process. But these are the main ones.

I have been living in the same state as my godson for the past 5 1/2 years. I get him almost ever other weekend. I love him very much and this was not an easy decision to come to. The state that I live in now is hours away from all of my family. I had my father up here for a couple of months but he passed away in February. This happening has made me want to be closer to my family members.
I got a new job out of state where I will be in the same city as many of my relatives.
I sat down and explained this situation to him and he seemed ok with it. I told him that I will be back to see him and he can even get on a airplane to see me. He's 6 years old. To make a long story short a SIL (Married to Fiance's Brother) WAS going to be in the wedding and alot of bad things happened between me (my fiance) & her. He doesn't want her in there (neither do I). We haven't spoken one word about the Wedding around her in months. We're getting married 5-3-08 and I was thinking of mailing her a check (for the dress deposit amt) to her with the save the date. I think that would say--you're not in it. What do you think. My wife is on the plus size and i find her very pretty and sexy. I have always dated plus size or heavier women. Do most men find skinnier women more pretty that heavier women. we broke up about half a year ago, but just now i am starting to put the pieces together.. we were together for 2 years, yet the entire relationship seemed like a progress. There was always a problem, always a fight, or he was breaking up w. me just so that he could "take me back"as his sick way of making me feel "special". He physically abused me a few times. He cheated on me multiple times but lied about it (once we broke up he bragged that he cheated on me 40 times) he is on antidepressants and aderol for god knows wat? often times i would go2his house&listen2him sob2me for hours about how sad he is. He is wreckless(just got a speeding ticket for going 140, just got a DUI for going 130, does coke, got a fake ID, drinks every day&every night, gets on anybody with 2 legs) when he broke up w/ me, he said "now that i have my meds*antidepressants* to make me happy, i dont need u anymore" & that was the end of it (he tried hooking up w/ me seconds after he brokeup w/ me when i was crying?

My adult daughter and I have had a huge blow-up. To tell you the truth, I don't even know what caused it. Something about my computer not working right. She has always been very judgemental of me and can't handle the fact that I am not perfect, which I've admitted to her time and again. And neither is she! She criticizes everything I do. I have two other adult children and they can't believe that she is the way she is with me. It's been like this for quite awhile. I have apologized to her for whatever she thinks I have done wrong in my life. I have apologized for not being perfect. I believe I was a very good mother and did well for my kids, but it wasn't good enough for her. She blames me for everything that is wrong in her life, but then will say that her life is perfect. Everytime, we have one of these blow ups, I'm the one that will reach out to her and tell her that I love her unconditionally. I am so hurt, that I can't find the words this time.

ok so me and this guy have been seeing each other, and were taking it slow because we just got out of bad realationships. in a week or so he has to do like a lil less than a month in jail and sometime after that hes goin to job corps for culinary arts. its rare to find someone who knows wut they want. his jail offense really opened his eyes to what he needs to change and he has. he is a really sweet guy and kisses my hand like a gentleman and he walked 2 miles yesterday in 100 degree weather just to see me cuz he promised he would. now my question is should i stick with the realationship even tho he has jail and job corps or not?
