one of weak techniques is "asking her directly". it's pretty bad and if you think on it, you definitely get "Yes I do" as answer. one of the techniques to find out if your girl truly loves you or not is to reduce your contact with her, if she really loves you, she most probably try to contact you more often. another technique is to test her. find out how much she cares about you. marcel proust (French intellectual, novelist, etc) suggests that: make a LIE!!, tell her directly that you really want to break up for a (reason). she probably would say "I accept the break up, but at least tell me the reason", but remember not to give any reason (because there is NO REASON) just say that you can't tell the reason. after 1 week or two, slowly rebuild your relationship with her, this time even if she didn't love you before, would love you more than her soul! (during the weeks of separation, her mind will be strongly involved about what mistake she have done that you left her, no doubt this make her thirsty for you love!)

I can only tell you personally how you would know if you were with me! Each woman is different in her demeanor. If it were me there would be a sparkle in my eye each time I looked at you! I would touch and want to be touched by you often. I would want to be in your presence often and miss you when you were gone. I would give my "all" to you. Heart , body, soul! These are just some of the examples of actions.
Like I said though, each woman is different and she may be telling you in more subtle ways.
Each persons definition of love is unique!

you just have to feel a connection.
everyone these days goes around saying how much they love each other.
love is not simple.
love only happens once and with the right person.
you must feel as though you were meant to be together.
personally, i doubt people ever find true love.
it's like finding a soulmate: only one in the entire world.

the eyes can tell you everything. if her eyes almost smile, like twinkle, at you like she's in complete adoration, then its love. also how she acts. is she thoughtful? does she truly listen to what you say? does she even say she loves you? lots of little hints will let you know

Look at her in the eyes. Tell her you love her. If she loves you back, she'll say it too looking into your eyes. If hshe avoids it, there might be something going on.
